You have to go back into your notifications, show all, and click on the ones saying choose your zebra/jenny and then you can select the coat pattern and it will appear in your account.

I have an email that takes me to the prizes i have won during the event and i can click on the zebra divines but nothing happens i dont get an option to choose their colours

i dont have any emails that tell me to choose the divine horse coat or anything like that

Not your email. Your notifications; the bell icon on the top right.
Go into the "All Notifications" category from the dropdown bar. Scroll through until you find a notification that says something along the lines of "You've collected enough fragments. Go pick your Jenny's/Zebra's coat." Click the notification, pick a coat, and the divine will be added to your "other horses" breeding farm.
