Bluping Fjords/Competition Wins

Hello!

I have returned to the game, and have picked up working on Fjords again!

I cannot recall, however, which competition style seemed to work best for gaining wins for BLUP purposes. I've done a mix of both so far, with positive results, but if I keep horses to one discipline, which is generally considered more advantageous?

Thank you so much in advance! I know this is ultimately a matter of personal experience and preference but I know there are tons of knowledgeable players out there and I'd like to avoid pitfalls where I can!

Fjords have a pretty open skillset, as stamina, speed, and dressage are the Fjord's top skill, while also usually being the secondary skills for competitions. You'd be most likely to find wins from Western Pleasure, reining, trot race, gallop race, and show jumping, where the competition's secondary skills are amongst the Fjord's top skills.

A competition's primary skill is what sets the difficulty, so leave this untrained, but train the stamina, speed, and dressage of your Fjord before entering anything that has these as secondary skills. You'll likely pick up your wins across a number of different competitions.

I also don't think it ultimately matters what discipline you go for, due to this.

Thank you! That's sort of what I figured- I know some breeds do much better in one discipline or the other, but I was curious if there was a specific tactic. So far, mine have been equally successful, so I suppose I'll just choose the one that suits my mood! Thanks again!
