Champion seed - worth it?

Hey all! Looking for clarification / advice— is the champion seed worth it? Are the innate skills high enough to rival the top innate skills, or close to the top, for each breed? And by innate skills, am I right in assuming that means genetic potential / GP?

Thanks!!

Whether anything is 'worth it' is up to you and how you play. Each player is different. No the horse will not rival the top horses in any skill. To get one that will needs either hard work or a lot of passes.

The benefit of the seed is that the horse is trained and ready to compete.

The GP and skills the champion seed produces are regularly updated as horses on the game get better. Currently, champion seed horses come with 10,074+ GP, and 26,774+ skills. They come fully trained in everything, including their rides and comp gains. Beach rides will not be done yet.
You can select the breed of the horse out of a few available breeds. The breeds will change at the start of each week. Draughts and Donkeys can be on offer in it, but unicorns won't be. You can select the horse's gender, and select its coat out of the few most common coat colours for that breed.
It'll be 3 years of age when you get it. It'll have Ouranos and Gaia for parents.

Whether that's worthwhile is subjective. Many people use them as NIB breeders, or to start their own breeding line, since they're foundies. Some use them for comps.

For future reference, "innate skills" are the same as "inborn skills"; the amount of skills a horse has when it's born. In this case, the amount of skills the champion seed horse has when it's spawned into existence, which is also the same as its max skills, since it comes fully trained.
