[Known Issue] Performance Issues



HellOw everyone,

You may have noticed there are some performance issues occurring when you're trying to care for your horses.

I'd like to assure you that this is a top priority for the team. They are hard at work to resolve these issues as soon as possible.

So the team can fully investigate and resolve the issue, we would like to ask you to send a ticket to Contact Us providing any and all information you can.

Here are some good examples of things to provide:
- When does the issue start, date/time?
- How long did the issue last?
- What were you doing when the issue started? (Caring for horses, blupping, etc.)
- What kind of connection does the issue occur on? (Home internet, mobile data)
- What version are you playing on, Classic or Mobile?

Everyone that is having trouble with pages loading improperly and missing graphic content: are you running Safari or running classic version on an old tablet or iPhone? I think we’ve been End User License Agreement forced into obscelesence.
The old devices won’t take the new iOS software drops, and Howrse’s updates with the animations and pop-ups have made it impossible to keep up.
TBH I first began to notice some incompatabilities back when they had the map building events. But yes, it is BAD! If you rely on a tablet to run classic, you’re galloping in the dark with no reins. default smiley :(

In the event, i'm noticing a lot of the items are labeled incorrectly.

The top hats on the top row for example.

The plain hat and the flower hat are displayed,
but when you select the one without the flower to drag onto the character, it gives you the one WITH the flower and vice versa.

This is also the case with the two black riding jackets on the top row. You pick one, you get the other.

And also second row of helmets, the first two are also swapped. The green one + the one with the pompom.

I'm not sure how many others are like this, I haven't unlocked everything yet.

Still terribly laggy this morning. In fact, it's worse now than it has been. I saw no graphics at all for the first minute or so of being here today.

I'm using Safari on an iMac running OS Ventura 13.4.1 - all fully updated - with a 250 Mbps connection.

I play on different devices and prefer the web version of the game. On one device however, it automatically loads to the mobile version. I used to be able to switch to the web version on that device, but for the past few days I have not been able to. I am able to take care of my horses and access the event on both versions, but I can't access the web version or the various tabs such as sales, equestrian center, etc. on the mobile version. I don't have the app and I've tried clearing cookies and other methods. Is anyone else having the same problem?

The game is still lagging and loading slow for me, and all my software is up to date.

Very laggy, took a second for it to load the words I was typing in this message. I have never expirenced this with any game I've ever played. default smiley (n)

Game just started lagging for me. Classic version on my laptop is saying unsafe connection now. (It wasn’t saying that this morning.)

I’m having terrible connection currently, and bad connection for a bit over an hour now. Lots of lag, and a few page crashes. A few times I’ll try to do an action, and it will fail and give the error message “internal network error, please try again later”
It’s a very bad morning for trying to work all my horses.

I generally have had fairly smooth game play considering I do use mobile majority of the time, (I switch to classic periodically because some actions are so much easier e.g. mass selecting to repair boxes) and I don’t have as many issues as people seem to feel for the app version. It’s different, but for my play style it works well enough now that I’ve kind of figured it out.

Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this right now, but my game takes forever to load when I take care of my horses. Entering in races, and doing actions with them, takes forever, and causes my page to refresh.

Everything takes so long to load. And when (this is only on mobile) I click on a horse it goes from one horse to anotherdefault smiley :@. I have to agree the game is unfortunately super laggy (even on the computer playing Classic Version) Hope you fix this problem! default smiley :@

My issue is I cannot age my horses. I am on my mobile device playing the game off a browser. I am trying to fulfill the objective of reaching 10 years old with a horse but I cannot do that.

For the last week i have been unable to play via the app. I have to log into the browser to play. Is tgis the case for everyone? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and i get the sane error everytime, Error #2
