Daily Objectives: Tips & Tricks

Daily Objectives

You can now complete two daily objectives each day! Some players can earn equus and others passes, depending on your seniority level.

Find your daily objectives on the homepage of the game, which is the page you see after logging into the game.

Completing the daily objectives seven days in a row will give a Horn of Plenty ! You can check on your progress through the gauge bar directly from the “Daily Objectives” page.

Within this thread players who need help, want to help, or just would like to share their progression with the daily objectives are welcome to post here.

All forum rules apply.

Please note that if you want to discuss the feature itself or give feedback on it, we ask that you do so with the dedicated topic thread for new features here: A new year brings new features!

Warm Regards,

The Howrse Team

Is there away way to get droppings then from the horses.
As long as you feed them each day and bed them down they will produce dropping the next day. Sometimes you can win droppings in Events, otherwise that is the only way to get them.

Cover a mare using a stallion with a positive BLUP I need a what now with what??????
A stallion is an entire male horse.

BLUP is a measure of how well a horse will pass on its training and experience n the form of In Born Skills (IBS) to the foal. There is a whole section on BLUP in the breeders manual for further reading. It is highly advantageous, to breed horses that have 100 BLUP to get the best possible foal from those two parents. To get to 100 BLUP the horse must have it's top three skills bolded (all points gained from rides, competitions and training for the skills with the biggest numbers next to them on the horses genetics tab), have won 20 competitions (1st place) and be at least 10 years old.

To find out if a horse has positive BLUP (above 0), go to it's genetics tab and have a look at the status bar below the list of six skills and their numbers. It is labelled BLUP and will show you a number. As long as that number is above 0 the horse has positive BLUP.

If none of your stallions have positive BLUP, you can use a public covering by clicking the cover my mare button, choosing breed etc from the drop down box on the public covering page and searching. There is a BLUP search box you can use too.

Please help. I am at the day I should be getting my HoP and I have a never before seen achievement to "get an item through item donation." What in the world does that mean? I have never heard of such a thing except when it's on a major quest and someone's name is always attached to it.

Can anyone tell me what in the world I can do to get that achievement so I don't lose all my days of work? Please?

Thank you in advance.default smiley *-)

It means someone needs to send you a gift is all, it's worded a little confusingly. Try gifting small items to friends and hopefully they get the hint and gift back, or if you have trusted friends on the game who wouldn't mind helping you, you could ask (but this is a riskier option as they may take it the wrong way and report you).

So asking for a gift is against the rules?

If you go to someone's inbox on Howrse and ask them to send you things, even if it's for an objective, it is against the rules. It would fall under advertising for something which you're not allowed to do in the public forums or private messaging.

Hey! You can complete this really quickly in a couple of ways.

1. Check sales for horses born today by filtering for horses born September 2021.
2. Go to the Best Teams page, pick a team, and look to the last page of their horses produced. They will almost always have a foal born today, usually more than one.

Thank you for the information. That's a ridiculous objective to give someone then if asking is against the rules. Wow. Lost my HoP. Not happy so leaving my "Achievements" alone for a few days till I stop being so angry. After all it's still just a game no matter how invested we are in it.

You could take it to Contact Us, they may consider changing the objective as they sometimes take player perspective into account (very rarely, I might add). They got rid of the "Remove a Pegasus' wings" objectives due to complaints though, so.

"Enter a competition using between 20 and 21% energy. How do I find these comps? I have some high skilled Vanners but all Comps are 18% Energy

Trial and error with different horses. I usually find Dressage, Reining, WP, and Trail Classes with high energy the most!

Try the Looking for congratulations topic in the events forum or doing some yourself.

Seriously? This is the 2nd time this week, the objective has been to remove a unicorns horn?

Twice in 1 week? Really? How annoying and ridiculous.

The first time was on day 1 and now it’s day 5 for me.

Suggestion: space those out maybe waaaayyyyy more or, better yet, stop making that an objective.

This is the tips and tricks topic, not a feedback topic. You can send a feedback ticket to contact us if you want to complain about something. More chance of someone seeing it.

There is BMI item water of youth which allows you to age a horse +1 month instead of +2 months.
