I want to finish the Zonkey trophy and need those Eggs, so I'm desperate to get them. I had bad luck in most grids when it came to guessing matches on the first try. I already spent 200 passes or so on jokers. Jokers seem like the better buy vs. the lives.

I am on the last level with two lives ready. No passes used yet; here's hoping I get really lucky in the morning.

I'm on the last grids too with no passes spent. Don't mind if I don't finish as I don't care about the Zonkeys , zebras etc but wanted the Tyches Crown so glad I got that far.

I don't think Howrse grasps the concept of memory match. It seems to me that now you have to be clairvoyant to finish without spending passes.

What is the grid size of the last few boards? I just finished the Harmony pack and am trying to budget out my spending / luck

Yes, as the game ends at the usual time, which is several hours after update.

Final grid is 5 full rows and 6 columns, although there are two squares in the 6th row

Even with my grid on paper I had to spend passes on this short memory game. Plus I never won a divine from the Crown bmi luck item. It looks to me you have to fill up the meter in order to get the divine offered in crowns.

I was tempted to spend to finish but I bought some HOPS instead

Just got some lives.

Well I managed to finish with no passes spent. I had just 2 lives left. That's the closest I've ever been to failing at one of these.

I didn't *quite* make it, (2 lives short) but I admit I made a couple of mistakes beforehand. That was *crazy* close though since I wasn't messing up constantly, it was really only 2 or 3. Really down to the wire. I'm glad it was still technically completable since I know how much wiggle room you get has a slight luck factor as well but that was nuts.

Didn't manage to finish, unfortunately. I did get the Crown, which was my main interest, but ran out of lives on the last board. I played every day, didn't make any mistakes throughout and still didn't make it, so that's very frustrating - I literally couldn't have done any better, strategically, was just let down by luck. Not particularly happy with this event, it wasn't planned very well I think.

So annoying !!! Had to buy 6 lives and only used one to finish the event.

I think it technically would have been possible without but you would have had to make no mistakes at all

I use Google docs to keep track of what tiles I've turned over. Being strategic when using the daily jokers helps. If I had lives left over after finishing a grid I would save them for the next day so I could use the joker before guessing. Wasn't concerned about finishing since I don't use Eros Eggs but managed to with 4 lives left.

This is exactly what I did too, and I didn't even come close to finishing Frustrating how luck-based this one was.

I find this event so tedious. I'm glad I finished the trophy for it, and then quit. I won't be finishing it even though I still have 30+ lives.

I see a lot of people struggled/are struggling, but I finished with three lives to spare and no passes used. You can still do it.

To me it feels like the event is shorter this time. I usually finish 1-2 days before the end without spending anything. Now I had to buy lives at the end. Or I had really bad luck.

I just finished. I started a day late, so I used 240 passes to get the crystal ball jokers to finish the grids. I can usually finish without passes, but since they started it early, I missed a day. I love the memory game, but this was way too short.

Sorry, haven't read anything before posting previous message. It is in fact shorter. Feels a bit exhausting to have these double events.

I finished. I spent about 120 passes and using paper and pencil definitely helped, along with using the daily jokers. Although I appreciate the Eros Eggs, I wish that a divine would have been the grand prize.

Please note that I used the passes to finish the grids with the Crown and HoP, which I felt were worthy. I was so close to finishing the event, I spent passes on the last board. I'm still working on this trophy.
