Secret Santa

HellOw,

Christmas is coming nearer and nearer!

With the Secret Santa, you can choose a Gift from your inventory to send to a random player.

So, keep an eye open for the Secret Santa pop-up window!

The Secret Santa will end on 2025-12-19 09:00.

The time matches the time zone chosen on your account.

Sending a gift will automatically sign you up to receive a gift as well!

Your Secret Santa gift will be ready to be opened on December 19th.

If you complete the tutorial for the Doors: Gifts Workshop event, you will also win a Duct Tape by participating in the Secret Santa.

If you miss the pop-up, you can still give a gift from the Secret Santa banner on the home page!

Happy Holidays!

I wish there was an option so you could GIVE a gift, without receiving one back.

I used to get the pop up the first time I logged on after the announcement but I guess this year I may or may not get it before the deadline?

This year I gave a HOP… because who doesn't love HOPs? I know I do! I hope my gift goes to a newbie player who needs things and I hope it’ll be the most generous HOP for them…
Happy Christmastime everyone!! I sooooo LOVE Howrse & I really really hope we have another 20 years together playing with our beloved Horses and collections!! default smiley (l)default smiley (7)

If you don't get the pop-up, you can click the banner on the homepage.

I like the idea of the "Secret Santa" thing, but hate all the whining that happens afterward when players feel they didn't get something comparable to what they put in.

I'd also like to point out that what might be considered a "useless" BMI to one player might be valuable to another. I, for instance, use WoY quite often, but never use P Boxes, while many players use those for their Greyfells (which I don't have). While Lyres are considered a low-end BMI, I sometimes use them for my fillers to make them easier to find in the comps.
It's all about how you play your game.

For me, it's not about getting something in return and, quite frankly, I wouldn't mind getting nothing. It's the spirit of giving that counts.

Sent a Harmony Pack. Felt like the most Christmassy BMI.
Hope it ends up with someone who loves customising their horses.

I sent a Hera's pack! I actually really love the secret Santa. It isn't about getting something "good" back, but about an act of generosity. Hoping mine goes to someone who can enjoy it! default smiley :)
