Much better than destroying the aussie animals by a long shot. That felt.. cruel. I much more enjoyed building them.
You probably wont read this, buuuuut I have some suggestions if you ever want to run another build a piñata event again (you should this was fun)
Like building one irl, I think the animation could be replaced with layers. You have the first quarter clicks be breaths and ends on a fully inflated baloon, or multiple balloons as you get more complicated designs. Then move on to glue and paper layers (bigger shape means more paper), until you have a newspaper coloured blob in the right shape. Then either paint or coloured paper, though it would be fun to customise your own piñata colours, especially if no one else gets to see them, but this gets tricky to code. Then the last quarer clicks are adding details like eyes and hair. By the time you have finished you have a complete piñata.
Then, and this might be crazy, you should be able to gift it to someone. Maybe just to a random player, because thats easier to manage and evens out better than one really popular player receiving 10 and unknown players getting none, but you can tell the players to whom the piñata goes, and from whence it came, and have the possibility for more friends. Each piñata has predetermind items, like they usually do, and you'll recieve one within 24 hours of sending one off of the same level. (It also means if there is a problem, you could just receive one from Ow, instead of a random player) Additionally, a player could add something low value, like an additional AP or a tack item, maybe not BM stuff, but a mash or an apple, make it a bit more personal when they gift it.
Idk just thoughts.

Although I'm not a huge fan of piñatas, this was pretty good.
I enjoyed the new building mechanics and the missions.
The design of new piñata companions is also a huge improvement.
And the fact that they can be paired with the respective divines is really cool.

I've never struggled with the piñata events in the past, but for some reason I was not able to finish this one despite doing all the objectives, never letting my charge bar get filled so I didn't loose any, and getting help from friends. As someone who believes all these events should be completed by not using passes, I never buy any extra hits, I am wondering how many others were unable to finish as well despite doing all the same because I don't think you should only be able to finish an event because you bought extra points or because you have to rely on all your friends also helping you as those should never be what get you to your goal, but what help you get to your goal faster. Not only were the low tier prizes not entirely worth getting, but also not even getting the end prize because of a seemingly rigged system really makes these events not enjoyable. default smiley :(

I too was unable to finish and stayed on top of objectives and the hit bar

I finished 3 days before it ended, without passes so easily done.. I did buy the bonus prizes mainly for the fragments which I ended up not needing after all. Smashing is more authentic but building is fine as well. Cute art work. Overall an easy one to finish even when the bar filled up when I was unable to log on a couple times.

Curious you finished so quickly. Did having a premium key help finish the event faster?

I really liked building the pinatas instead of destroying them! I Played every day and never let my energy bar get full but still I was unable to finish the event. I was on the Secret Rainbow pinata but I wasn't able to finish it so did not get it or the Anniversary horse which makes me very sad as I really wanted that horse. default smiley :'( I really liked the artwork and can't wait to put these pinatas on my horses. Perhaps the Anniversary horse could be offered as a reserved sale sometime?

Even after completing all the tasks and stuff I still had to spend 600 passes to complete, I'd say it's not at all worth it, but this is just my opinion! Other than spending all the passes it was a fun event!

I was very disappointed that I was unable to finish this event and get the anniversary horse. I was looking forward to adding him to my stable! I got to the last pinata but I would have had to spend way too many passes to finish. I was able to buy a horse with the Secret Rainbow pinata so at least I will get the trophy for having them all, but again I was so sad not to get anniversary horse. I really enjoyed making the pinatas instead of destroying them. I know they're only pixels but I hated bashing them! And I hate seeing the X'd out eyes before the horse wakes up! Much nicer to create them! I have enjoyed putting them with the special horses too if I have them in my stables.

I enjoyed the Event. A bit perturbed as delayed 2 days on mobile app. Clicks did not register, went to Community page to ask what I was doing wrong.
Only frustration with the event of course would have needed to spend many passes playing 'catch up'..

It was pretty ok, but since I don’t have passes, I was unable to finish. These kinds of events aren’t my preference, as there are long waiting periods to get one bar on the thingy

I loved this event. Being able to get one of the anniversary divines is awesome and I appreciate the chance to get a divine in general without having to spend passes. I have no quarrels with the event at all. The objectives were easily completed and I was able to finish it in time. The pinatas are adorable! Thank you for the fun event! default smiley ^)

this was honestly a poor event...

i'm always of the mindset that events in any game should ALWAYS be something the player can complete fully F2P. meaning you should never have to spend money to complete an event. after all, that's why events in games are important! it's for the F2P players to have a chance at getting some shinies/good items without having to shill out.

i, like many of the people above in this thread, stayed on top of my pinatas. i never let the bar get full, I always received all help requests, and I completed my objectives as they came to me. i didn't even get to finish the 9th piñata. i was about ~30 points off of the meter, which really sucked, because that philosophers stone would have been really nice to have.

I'm not a fan of events that are super time-gated. i love being able to actively participate in events, and frankly, clicking a clip-art pinata a few times isn't very intuitive or fun, either. the prizes you get from the pinatas were also lackluster, and I also thought paywalling some of the prize pool is a little annoying and icky.

I'm not exactly sure why you would make the event incomplete without having to pay passes, when the anniversary divine doesn't even offer you passes as its gimmick! it's precisely why I didn't want to spend my passes or buy passes. there's not enough value there for me. but even so, I still would have liked to have him. anniversary horses are really cool, and their gimmicks are usually really REALLY good to have as a F2P player. very disappointing event.

I've seen a few players saying that it was impossible to complete for free, but I can assure you that it was possible. I did it.

I usually don't like the pinata events, but this one I liked considerably more than the rest, though that likely has more to do with the fact that building a pinata is considerably less upsetting than smashing one of cute animals.

I spent 600 of my hard-earned passes(I'm a 100% F2P player and I get my passes through either pass crops or objectives) for the premium key and the extra prizes, which I don't have any regrets for. It also allowed me to finish a couple of days early, though then I found myself being bored and having nothing to do except check back to see which of my friends needed help with their pinatas...

The only thing I wish was changed was that there was something else we could do except mindlessly checking back to assist our friends where we can still participate in the event itself.

I really liked the event! I just wish there was visually more definition between stages of building pinatas. I also wish there were more BMIs, I like companions but I felt the prizes weren't as exciting. Pinata events are pretty easy to get through, but I do wish there was a little more active gameplay than logging in every few hours to click on yours or a friend's and that's it.

Loved decorating the pinatas instead of destroying them this time, and the designs were pretty cute. Would love seeing this again with another batch of divines : )

I have kind of a love-hate thing with this event. I though the designs were very fun and while I believe that the game is completely overloaded with companions as prizes, at least making them match certain divines and being able to pair them with their horse counterpart is different and very cute.

The prizes would be very good if it weren't for the fact that the best ones are behind a paywall, and while I managed to make it to the end, I know a lot of people weren't despite being on top of it. It's also not very interactive, just logging in every couple of hours to tap on a non-changing image of a pinata a couple times a day is kind of boring, but at least you could ask friends for help, so that was nice?

Overall, it wasn't the worst event, but it was pretty lackluster, especially for an event where an Anniversary divine was offered as one of the grand prizes. I just wish there was more to do, add more objectives or I saw someone else suggest the possibility of "gifting" completed pinatas, which also seems interesting. Just having the image change as we built them up would have been a bit more dynamic. And I know some people may disagree with me here, but I would love a break from the companion prizes.

I found this event okay. The only problem I had was waiting for the bars to fill up so I could finish each pinata.
I have no emotions about the prizes I got, but I think the pinata companions are very vibrant and eye-catching.
I overall think this event was nice because it lasted longer, but it definitely could have more fun to it rather than clicking pictures every couple of hours.

I did all of the objectives as soon as they were available, and I only let my meter fill once for not more than like an hour. I also got pretty much all the friend clicks. All that to say, I'm quite disappointed that even if I had gotten my last four friend clicks and had spent 100 passes, which is a little more than I currently have, I would have been ten points short of completing the event. All that to say, yes I've seen people saying it was possible to complete without passes, but I wish it was a little more flexible. Just enough wiggle room that one or two little mistakes can't cost the ultimate prize. Also, I do wish you didn't have to spend to get the best prizes. As a new and F2P player, I don't have a bunch of passes, so I wish the event was geared to help players who don't want to spend money, or are still getting established. Overall nice event but would have loved it to be a little easier to complete and earn prizes.

I very much liked this version! And I was able to finish without passes, too. I wonder if it has something to do with when I first logged on the day it started. If people logged on later than I did and then hate to wait—is it six hours to start? That would definitely leave you at a disadvantage. default smiley :'(

Just commenting to say THANK YOU for making a set of companions that are actually cute and not ugly as sin!! There’s a large amount of the companions I will never, ever use as they are just disgustingly ugly.

i loved it, though i do wish we had more time to complete it as it's my only gripe. i do really like the final premium prize, and i'd love to see it be obtainable in future events since i have my eye on it :>

really awesome having a divine as the main prize, especially as i was able to finish without spending any passes. but a very long and pretty dull event in general

I felt that just clicking on the pinatas was pretty boring; it didn't really feel like a game. I also think the point value set for friends helping you out was way too low. But I did like that it encouraged the community to connect, as it got me to finally add some friends on here. And as always, I'm grateful for events that give free Black Market items.

Could anyone tell me why the Piñata event on the French version lasts 24 hours longer?
I would have definitely liked to have this extra time...

Hello,

There was an issue on the FR version that affected the event. For that reason, it was extended by 24 hours.default smiley (ow)
