I was really disappointed with this event. I kept getting cards that didn't help me progress at all, and eventually used passes in the hope that I'd get some cards to help me get the last of the prizes I really wanted. I ended up wasting passes on a handful of cards that didn't help me progress at all (ex. I got two more blue cards that brought me to five, but one of the paths required 9 blue cards).

A suggestion for future events is to let us trade cards - if we need 3 purple cards, we can trade 3 blue cards, etc.

I did like that it was possible to get all the Heracles, or all the special tack, but some of the other gifts felt a little lackluster in comparison. That may be because I've been playing for so long that most things were things I didn't need.

Other than that, I had fun just logging on and getting the cards to use later. It felt very low effort on my end.

Most of my free gifts were manure. I did wind up getting a Zeus lightning bolt at the end, so that was okay. Most of the companions seem pretty useless as most of the time it's only a 2 point gain in a skill that is useless to my Paints and TBs.

I have never liked this promotion as it seems getting the required cards to get to the next board are almost impossible with the pathway choices.

I wish there was a way to trade some of those useless cards.

Overall I liked this event. The prizes on the boards were pretty cool. I love the samurai tack and the companions are adorable. I do think getting the prize cards instead of one of the horse cards was silly considering those cards could've instead helped me progress towards better prizes. I seen some other players offer the idea of being able to trade cards for other cards and I support this idea. Another idea would be to lessen the percent chance for the prize cards in favor of the horse cards. Being able to the get horse cards at a higher rate and increasing the ride and competition count would assist with event progression.

This was one of my least favorites in a long time. It felt slow and difficult to progress. Most of the prizes weren't that appealing either.

This event was a bit disappointing compared to the ones I have seen since re-joining. During this event at the end I had a collection of 0-5 cards of each type that could not be used at all. I ended with roughly 10 cards that just went to waste. The prizes also were not the most appealing, and I was trying to complete the samurai set, and had one piece left, but was unable to get 9 or so of the two types of cards required (two options of paths to get there), even when saving up for the last few days. I needed the "lower" cards and would have loved an options to "downgrade" cards.

Slow to progress. There should be a way for us to trade cards to get ones we need. The items were 'okay'. I've seen better, but won't complain about free items! Overall, not very entertaining and not my favorite even that I've done.

I mean I figure a halloween event would run until halloween, not stop four days before it. They could have timed this better to match up with actual halloween. Gifts were fine though a little lackluster. Had cards I couldn't use at the end.

I'm brand new, so it was nice for me to get a lot of stuff I hadn't seen before. However, it took me a good few days to even get a loose idea of what was going on with the event and I still don't have a particularly clear idea of how it worked. I'm also not sure if this is something that's done every year, but having a Halloween event that ends before Halloween feels odd to me? Other than that, it wasn't too bad, but it did just feel like I was getting a bunch of random free stuff and I wasn't sure why. Also, I've seen others suggesting that you add the ability to trade the cards and I do think that's a good idea. I ended up with a lot of cards that I couldn't use and it would have felt better if I could have at least traded them for something I could use.

I found this event to be "meh", even though i did waste passes buying card packs in an effort to get the very few items that I actually *wanted*. Trying to get to them was a royal pain, especially with the length of time this promo was running and how few cards we could get between logging in and some objectives.

At the end of the event, I was left with maybe a dozen assorted cards that I couldn't use that ended up going to waste, making me feel like I also wasted those passes in the process, all because I didn't have enough of a card type to take that path. As such, I agree with others about being able to "trade" card types to get another type of card.

I was not happy to log on and find out that the game had arbitrarily chosen the last few gifts for me. (like fragments - thanks but no thanks)
Like others have mentioned, I'm getting tired of all of the new companions and "special" horses. The cards, when I had enough, wanted to force me to get fragments for a divine I couldn't care less about, while there were enough to get a BMI but that path wasn't available!
The gifts were so-so, except for the samari equipment (if you were lucky enough to get that far).
It would make more sense to be able to accumulate cards for the "trips" that have not been completed instead of accumulating cards for a trip that had been finalized. Just that issue alone basically stacks the deck against being able to move forward.

I am just done with "Captain Obvious" Emma at this point. Have been for awhile. She's constantly forcing me to undergo the tutorial and won't leave until I have done so. She keeps thinking I am a first-timer when I've been playing this game for years. She makes me feel so dumb default smiley (d) it's not even funny. Why can't the admins make the tutorial an option instead of a requirement?

Slow to progress, and this promo was not scaled properly to account for the shortened time period. Had a bunch of useless cards at the end, just one or two short of opening a path, but booooooy howdy did I pick up a lot of useless 2** manure default smiley (d)

Very disappointed with my prizes, my attempt to engage just to be thwarted at every level, and just the existence of these shortened events at all.

Because there well be tons of other SMART people that will complain they don't know what to do during event and/or how to turn on/off the tutorial?!

First of all, lets address first the issue with both events: they were short. We players have been consistent with the fact that we do not like shortened events, as they make for a stressful experience, so please don't shorten them
default smiley :(

Second, I can't complain too much about what I did get, but the prizes received were definitely a bit lack luster. I had horses with enough pass value to sell to finish this last event, but in the future it would be nice to not have to do so.

All in all, I love this game, and I love the events, but listening to the feedback of players will make a big improvement on not only gameplay, but future engagement and will bring in new players as well.

I'm neutral when it comes to the Trip event but I do want to see more prize variety rather than a bunch of horseshoes and special tack. More reproduction and customization items would be great.

While I don't mind the hike event, I didn't like that it was so short. Like many others, it should have lasted longer, especially since it was Halloween themed. You wanted us to get through the same amount of hikes with fewer days to do it with. I had to buy passes, which I shouldn't be doing since I'm on Social Security, so I could hopefully get the card I needed to get the gifts I wanted. I was lucky enough to get the needed cards and got all but 2 gifts that I really didn't care if I got or not. With a shortened version, the number of cards needed should have been lower and it would have been nice to trade cards when we had ones we couldn't use to try and get ones we needed.
