I didn't have as much trouble discerning the different levels, but the same color scheme did make it trickier.
I love being able to pick prizes. Overall, a good time.

I knocked it down for visual appeal because the accessibility concerns were not adequately addressed per the preprod feedback, and many people noted struggling with it. Fun color shifts, or having numbers instead of pictures for the prize combos would have helped a great deal.

Otherwise, great prizes, lots of flexibility and an overall fun and rewarding event.

I loved the prize variety for this one. Lots of high value items, including some that aren't offered too often, like the Titan's Challenge and Eros Egg, and you could make multiple of each.

I also liked the designs of the new companion set. Except for the eyeball one, as single eyeballs creep me out a bit. It was a bit difficult to distinguish some of them on classic though, because all you really see is orange creatures on top of an orange background. The mobile version made it easy, because it didn't have the event background. I kept wanting to pair the Lumeetle with the Flameleon, because they're fairly similar in appearance.

In future, I'd suggest making the number icons bigger, and also including the numbers on the prize page, so you don't have to keep hovering over the creatures to see which number they are

I loves the Hestie prize and this time I used passes to advance forward in the game. I also like the length of the game .
I agree the color scheme was not so easy to distinguish when playing on the phone.
Sometimes the meter did not fill properly, with the butterfly.

I literally only got one prize - the new companion.

It takes FOREVER to get x2 level 9 merges.

1 Hestia's Gift, 3 Titan's, and one Lightning Bolt. I am beyond thrilled at the prize pool offered and how easy it was for free-to-play players to obtain what we wanted

I liked the concept and overall enjoyed the event. It was a bit difficult to remember the order from how similar all of the pets are in color

Impossible for those of us with non-perfect vision to play properly, all the art looked the same and was on a background that certainly didn't help. had to use mobile for the whole thing, but the combination listed on the prize page were smaller than a baby's pinkie nail and you kinda just had to assume what the levels were.

(apparently this issue was brought up in testing and was completely ignored? which like. if true then what's even the point of asking testers for feedback at that point?)


prizes were pretty decent at the higher levels, I probably could've eeked out another TC if I hadn't accidentally let the bars refill that one time (going back to school with spotty cell service, couldn't be on 24/7 and have been completely exhausted dealing with admin tasks, so didn't always make it on before the meter filled back up)

also the human-eye-but-on-fire was, I have to say it, pretty dang creepy and I'm honestly kinda baffled trying to think how that decision was made that *that* was the first line in a chain of animal companions??

The icons could do with being larger though

The prizes for this event were really good in my opinion! I ended up with 1 Hestia's Gift, 1 Kairos Dial, and 1 Hypnos Blanket. These are all BMs that I use in my general gameplay, so it was a really good and attainable set of choices that made me want to keep playing. I liked this one!

Pros:

Choice of BM items, fragments or companions as a prize.

High end BM items not regularly offered for contests. Great option!

Relaxed pace and you could buy passes to progress quicker, if you wished.

Cons:

Colours were too similar, especially for people with colour blindness/vision issues and the eerie eyeball design. Not a fan!

The merge times were lengthy. The merge time could be decreased slightly. It took two days plus of merging to obtain the higher end offerings.

final prize was HORRIBLE. rest was fine. stop making ONE companion a final prize. ONE companion even if new is NOT a grand prize. especially with what you have to do get it.

Probably my least favorite event in a long time. The high end prizes were good, but took forever to get to without spending passes. And as others have mentioned, the characters were all too similar. They were so tiny on the prize page that I couldn't figure out what we needed for the prizes. Thankfully we could accept or decline a prize before merging.

Not sure what the correct term is, but the recipes? The combo of what you need for each prize? Very tiny icons on the app. I'm short sighted and I struggled trying to work out which was which. I think the gift could be smaller, we can click on them after all, and the actual recipe should be at least 100% larger, and have their transformation number. I had no idea what I was looking at until I had made the top merge.
The visual appeal wasn't high on this one for me either, everything made of fire was.. bland. Kind of like the piñatas. Hellish doesn't have to just mean one fire overlay/filter over every animal.
Plus, "Hellish" has connotations and refers to a religion, which isn't exactly non-political or all ages. I know some religions like to forget that their religion is included in the "no religion" people like to have in online games, but I'm happy to call it out when I see it. "Surely this reference to my religion will be fine," well, no, it's not, and it is against your own TOS.
You should've run a "fire type", and then you could have a 5th element theme of fire, water, air, earth and metal types run over the next year, with a companion 5th element that will give you a random one with the same drop probability.
And you had a fire beholder but not a hell hound? .. interesting choice after interesting choice.

i'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but i've heard alot about horse shoes you can get from progressing in the event which go towards a draw to get a diuvine. just wondering how many times you can get horseshoes, like is it twice a day or just 2 times in all? also, how far do you have to progress for it?

The horseshoes are old and were removed quite a while ago. Now you just have to take part in the event to get entered into the end draw for the divine. I believe you are entered once you complete the event tutorial

I'm always torn on if I'm happy with prizes for these since you get free rein to pick whatever you want, but you also don't get very many. Two Athena's Medals, two Harmony Packs and an Artemis Arrow for me. But I'll use them all, so it's good.

The visuals were beautiful but I do agree the base same-color orange on everything did make it a bit difficult to tell what was what especially when they were small. I really like these designs overall, though, and will be waiting for them to come around in a weekend promo so I can get a Fireball.

Loved the prize pool on this one, it was amazing! So many high value items, especially the ones unavailable in the black market.

I paid for more butterflies twice to be able to get my third Hestia as I breed unicorns. However, I dislike that you can only get very little prizes in total if you go for the bigger stuff, although I do agree that their value is very high. I just wish I was also able to go for the Eros egg for future inventory purposes and the staff, but very happy with three Hestia’s nonetheless

Not my favourite event but good variety of items for all players I thought.

Two many companions as it is, and not worth the hassle when you can't collect them all in an event (without spending) so concentrated on harmony packs.

Nice to see the pink eggs finally back...even if too late for me.

I needed an extra slot to manage my "pets" but I managed with the limited amount of slots given -- when the dogs were offered, it seemed I could collect them for a bit

the event was okay - it just seemed to go and go and since I went for the pets and also wanted the Eros egg - seemed to take long and I did need to take advantage of the pass weekend to get there
