So I finally reached a pass savings value of 4k yesterday. Opal's price is STEEP...

But if he is really almost as good as sapphire and mars who drop passes every second day (150p/month) then I think it's still reasonable... -ish. I expect those 2 to cost about 12k each or maybe 8k if Howrse is feeling generous, but I have my doubts about them being that cheap. If Opal's drop rate is close enough to 150p/month then paying less than 4k for him is at least ~50% off at the minimum. And knowing that I tend to back out of luck items after spending 2k or I gather 100 fragments to add to the meter reminded me that I'd *never* get him from the items because I'd never be willing to keep trying for long enough to fill the meter unless I have more than 900 fragments on it, and that's going to take a few rotations to accumulate.

So I caved and bought him. Hopefully he gives me a half decent income - he already dropped his first 10p today Hopefully he's not like clover who I filled the meter for because I thought that he'd give 60p/month, only for him to clock it at being my biggest waste of passes ever by only dropping 30p/month.

I just hope that it wasn't a waste.. I'm down to 600p again. I dread the upcoming weekend offers because Howrse could easily use them as a cash grab by using this event to deplete our pass savings before offering something amazing...

I am tempted with the grail horse on Thursday! but not sure if he's worth that many passes and i don't really have that many spare either. Unless I sell stuff and I'm not going to haha!

I quite on my Gypsum. I think they musta changed that one or something because I went weeks without any passes. I gave up lol

Amber hasn't been the greatest either, so I have been very hesitant on buying anything that says it might give me 10 passes when they wake up/get groomed/ or whatever it may be.

i’ve been wanting to start collecting the gemstone horses for years, but at over 3k passes for opal i don’t see that happening any time soon i missed amber(?) i think yesterday too, dang it. but if opals price is that high i don't wanna know what the other was!

I saw the price of Fuji and jumped on him immediately. Amazing price for an amazing boy.

I was most excited to get Athos. I also got a Midas and a Fuji. Very pass poor now. Now will be when all the super rare retired coats suddenly appear on market. I normally keep a reserve of passes but I couldn't resist Fuji. Imagine an army of them! Someday I hope to find them in Ascent.

My one complaint is how short these sales are. I would likely have bought several more divines if each set was active for 3-5 days, instead of 24 hours, as that would have allowed me to spend some of my next pay on more passes.

The sweet spot for me is 10 Fuji, or a mix of Fuji and Smoke (same drop rate), but I'm sure some people who skill way more than I do will find them useful in bigger groups.

Pass-value-wise, it's the same drop rate as Jupiter, but he "only" drops clouds, so he's not considered as valuable because you need 20 per horse.
