Literally just got a second cumin and I got the the final level so I gained 80 spices for cumin 2

I don't expect big drops every day, but pretty much every single day I've struggled to make it past 10, with today not even getting past level 1. I'm at 25 spices, I got it on Friday, this means I've only got the minimum ever since I got it. Am I really going to need to wait 30 days for 20 passes? It's really discouraging after having to max the meter for it. It also isn't like I'm trying to get to the high levels, I'm just trying to reach 15, yet that seems impossible with this new spice.
I am honestly just wishing that the series was one you woke up and it found spices based on the table provided, this way you would not have had to gamble with the drop rate, and it would have stopped so much frustration. Or, if the game stays, have it so you get the previous levels spices. Even something like that would be a massive improvement over just ending up with 5 every single day.

Am I really going to need to wait 30 days for 20 passes? If our testing is correct, you're not. Cumin is going to be a much more accurate way to test the Spices. If the game is going to 'compensate', we'll know for certain.

I'm just trying to reach 15, yet that seems impossible with this new spice. Hi I'm back with unsolicited maths. To reach 15 spices you need lvl 4, which has probability 0.9*0.8*0.65 = 0.468 of success. You failed 5 days in a row, this would have probability (1-0.468)^5 = 0.0426 (binomial distribution). So what has happened to you is at a 4% probability. This is relatively unlikely to happen, but you know, 4 out of 100 people will have this happen to them... just unlucky I suppose? |
Reporting back on Cinnamon - round two I tried taking on level 5 instead of pressing for 6, as you'll see I forgot to take a few times. 33 days, exactly the same as my last attempt.

I am officially at 69 spices with Cumin. I keep getting stopped at 7 spices unfortunately. On the contrary, my Cinnamon has gotten to fifteen spices 3 days in a row until now. |
I keep getting stopped at 7 spices unfortunately. If you fail a level you get to 5 spices, it's impossible to get 7 unless you collect at 7, unless my understanding of the Divine is wrong.

I haven’t done a full test yet on Cumin but I got him on March 8 and decided just to go all the way each time, pass or fail. Got his first payout March 13 so 5 days for the first one but I believe the metre came partially filled already? Not every divine does that so I can remember completely but it does look like Cumin will payout in about half the time as Cinnamon if you just keep going every day

If you fail a level you get to 5 spices, it's impossible to get 7 unless you collect at 7, unless my understanding of the Divine is wrong. Fail at seven spices as in i.e. I do not get any higher than Level 2, I do however continue to get 5 spices. Here is my pace checker since his first drop: 1-10s (claimed) 2-5s (failed getting to 15s) 3-5s (failed getting to 15s) 4-7s (failed getting to 10s) 5-5s (failed getting to 10s) 6-5s (failed getting to 10s) 7-5s (failed getting to 15s) - I got overly confident in this one  8-5s (failed getting to 10s) 9-7s (claimed) 10-5s (failed getting to 10s) 11-10s (claimed) Originally was trying to get to 15 but now I am going for 10 or 7 tbh. |
First drop from Cumin, I always try to go to 80 with him (except the last day where I only needed 30 spices to fill the metre):
