I was wondering the other day what some of your favorite horse names are.

So I've decided to open a topic about that, BUT there are a few rules:

I like the names Moose, Elmer, Scotch, Blue, and Jack. They are all horses I have ridden in real life.

My favorite names are all Hawaiian names, of course! I understand that they may not seem common to everyone else, but I know more horses with Hawaiian names out here than with English names. For the sake of the list, I conducted two lists: my favorite Hawaiian names and then my favorite English names.

1. Aloha (translation: Hello, Goodbye, Love)
2. Kekoa (translation: warrior)
3. Kokua (translation: help)
4. Kukui (translation: state tree, the kukui nut tree)
5. Makamaka (translation: dear friend)

1. Rosie
2. Cotton Candy (I know, two words! But it was the name of the first pony I ever rode)
3. Chocolate
4. Sunshine
5. Plunk (biggest horse I ever met - 17 hands! His competition name was Ker-Plunk.)
