I was wondering the other day what some of your favorite horse names are.

So I've decided to open a topic about that, BUT there are a few rules:

I tend to name horses after the characters of books my wife tells me about. I'm not big on reading, but she is, and I listen to her tell more kid friendly versions of the stories she reads to our son. But anyways, I always liked the name Hot Pie from one of her books...I always pictured kind of a gangly not the most attractive paint with that name...

from the same book as Hot Pie is a character named Gendry...Always pictured a dark bay or black horse, stallion, really stubborn with that name.

Maggie, Bailey and Nik-Nak are horses I have ridden. Ontarla is one of my favorite non-rideable horses, and before I owned my own horse, my dream horse was named Dragonfly. So there you have it default smiley :d
