I like taking words of things that I like to do, or things that describe horses and translate them into different languages. It makes for some pretty cool names. Like,

Lighting, Cloud, Black(ie), Storm, The month the horse was born, Playboy, Shetan ( yes there is an accent over the e). Magic, Peanut, Beauty, Diva, Casper, Romeo, Juliet, Napleon, Sunshine, Wildfire, Dawn, Smok(ie), pic a Zodiac sign... the names are endless

I'm working on a line of horses meant for cross-country competition -- well, okay, so I'm still on the foundation horse -- and I'm thinking I'll name them all after notable scientists. My RL cockatiel has already taken Ada Lovelace, so the mare I'm currently working on is Émilie du Châtelet, and then there's Marie Curie, Hypatia of Alexandria, Rosalind Franklin, Annie Jump Cannon, Beatrix Potter, Margaret Meade... and Henrietta Lacks wasn't technically a scientist, but I think she deserves to be remembered anyway. (Boy horses? What boy horses? XD)

I figure if I ever decide to start working on a line with another purpose, I'll name them all after feminists or something.
