This thread is here to show off your Retired Coats. This is not the place to post non retired coats. **The two exceptions would be coats that have been pulled (brief discussions) and the pre release coats.

REMEMBER:

******** absolutely no sales talk, no talk about spares or how many extras of a copy you got and selling them to fund your RC habit this is just a place to talk RCs

* although links and graphics are ok on this thread, they are not allowed normally on public forums

* any negative or unkind comments on artists or coats (or anyone!) will be removed, and depending on the case, it might mean an instant forum ban.

* DO NOT use this as a place to sell your horse/coats-if you feel the need to break this rule, it will mean an instant forum ban...

** Sales ads are NOT allowed in any public forums. Asking for spare coats will now be considered a sales ad. This includes stating that you plan to sell a coat, or point out coats for sale in sales.

* Do not use this place as a spot for rants or complaints-About coats/BG/or each other.

* This is not the place to ask players to price your coats, or to ask others the worth of a coat, you can check uses on your own by hovering your mouse over the gray apple and price it from there.

* This is not the place to bring up the subject of stolen images. Keep in mind that the rules of the BP used to be very different, and many old coats are from that time.
There is not any reason to bring that up, or report the coats.

*Please do not do a coat countdown for soon to retire coats.

* Please do not post coats that are currently in the GA and have either not retired, or will never retire.

* Please do not post coat/bg combos or ask opinions on them, except following coat release.

* Some coats may be removed in the future, whether that be for problems with the coats itself or just because they're clearing room on the server to allow other coats to be uploaded - if you're buying retired coats, please keep that in mind. If you want a permanent copy, I would recommend saving the graphic to your computer

* How to discover who many uses a New GC coat will retire-There is now a coat countdown in the GA, and it will show how many have been used and how many uses there are left.

** There is now a new creations directory which shows all coats. Go to Community>>>Directories>>>Creations>>>Click more criteria, and on the left hand side is a gold and silver apple. Click the silver apple and search to see all retired coats.

* To see who created/how many uses/name/or if you have it already of a RC coat, simply click on the silver apple, and it will tell you.

*** Posting links to other player's coats is NOT allowed and can mean a forum ban.

Just a heads up, even the 300 copy nash coats go within minutes. It's one of those coats you don't want to wait on grabbing.

This is true i missed out on eagle spirit coat because my phone froze on lost princess draft but i ended up getting the draft with butterfly on muzzle in sales.

It's currently 10pm then 10am for me. The early is great (not so as it will shift an hour when we go into bst, and the 11pm isn't so great with early starts) but the normal is usually in my working day so not an option. Even on weekends it's a busy time. Only one shot at getting the coats is just so expensive as so many of us after just 50 copies, not to mention all the 're sellers. Coat release is very profitable for all but collectors!

The bay paint arab went in a minute. I got the nash pony, the white winged draft and the chestnut draft horse instead of the bay paint arab or black horse with a rose.

The problem with the timing is that there will always be some countries that will struggle with it. I'm in the UK, so my current times are 10 on both ends. For me, it's manageable, but let's say they pushed it forward 5 hours. This would make my time 3 on both ends, making early suddenly out of reach unless I woke up stupidly early. It's near impossible to set a time that would work for everyone on a server that has people from all over. On the other servers, times are more set with those timezones in mind, like the US being at 1 my time, so more manageable for people from that country. default smiley :)

Wow, its amazing that Daenerys has 105/100 copies! We've seen them go over before, but i've never seen one that many over limit!default smiley :o I'm so glad i managed to get it!default smiley :p

Got all but two that i picked up in sales...after an unusually horrible pre release for me, i managed to get the ones i missed that i most wanted before they retired in the normal release. Regular release went a lot better for me than i expected! And now...bed!default smiley (zzz)

It's part of a series and some of them have matching rays. That's about it, I think.

Personally I love the set and I think mihrami did a splendid job default smiley :)

I have a very irrational fear of frogs and toads so I won't be in a hurry to find one, but it is nice apart from that bit default smiley :p

Just had this pulled, pretty sure it was from this release - pony coat

I remember seeing that new coat, but didn't have it yet. Man i hate it when coats have to be pulled!

That's a shame haffyfan, about the fear! I like both, but i especially like toads. Somehow, they are just about the cutest thing ever and i love them! The fatter and bumpier the toad, the more i like them!default smiley :pdefault smiley *-)default smiley (l)

I reserve the right to change my mind in the event of a plague, but somehow i don't think i would even then!default smiley xd

P.S. i actually have a plague in my forum that i added along time ago lol. This just reminded me of it ha ha.

Disappointing to see the sales flooded with 100 and 200 copy coats.. I wish they would scatter releases a bit more. Saved up a lot for this release and had an emergency so I missed the release... Oh well, better luck next month. Just trying to get my collection together for my foundies.

Ohhh what a shame!! Such a cute coat too, I'm a sucker for anything with snowflakes and or a snowy theme... I missed out on getting it, but now I see it's a good thing I did. I wonder why it was pulled...?

I'm currently sitting at 80%, which, despite collecting for a number of years, is quite surprising to me!default smiley :o

Thank you...i had no idea this was even the case before they had the collections page with the percentages. It honestly hadn't even crossed my mind. Whats really crazy is i know that some players have a lot closer to 100% of them!default smiley *-)

For sure! My strategy mainly consists of getting the coats before they retire, cause i can't afford to buy them from sales very often! I am about to celebrate 13 years on the game, so i've been at it for a long time. I got all the remaining Pre CS coats years ago, knowing that they can retire at any moment. And i try my best to get everything i can at each coat release, with a goal of getting them all. In the moment it can get pretty stressful, but when its done i'm pretty happy to have the new coats...and then the next release comes and the cycle restarts lol. But i love my collections so i keep hacking away at it.default smiley :p I could never afford to buy them in sales with the way the prices often skyrocket! Also, i like to match things up with the horses as best as i can, and those in the sales rarely seem to have put any thought into that. Sometimes i swear they purposely try not to ha ha!default smiley xddefault smiley :p I kinda cringe if i have to pick one up and literally nothing matches. But if i need it and its affordable, its more important that i have it in my collection. Sigh...i might be a little crazy and obsessive lol. But hey, i have a big and growing collection that i love, so it has served me well!default smiley ^)

3 percent i wish i never sold any but got one back in sales. Like harley and nami namizu? Reminded me of two dogs but unfortunately low use silver apples for both. Thankfully howrse didn’t delete my account.default smiley (l) I became obsessed trying to find my dog sunshine not avatar or would had shorter hiatus They shot off fireworks end of June 2022 etc and then i took chance on seeing if my account was deleted. It wasn’t default smiley :)
