This thread is here to show off your Retired Coats. This is not the place to post non retired coats. **The two exceptions would be coats that have been pulled (brief discussions) and the pre release coats.

REMEMBER:

******** absolutely no sales talk, no talk about spares or how many extras of a copy you got and selling them to fund your RC habit this is just a place to talk RCs

* although links and graphics are ok on this thread, they are not allowed normally on public forums

* any negative or unkind comments on artists or coats (or anyone!) will be removed, and depending on the case, it might mean an instant forum ban.

* DO NOT use this as a place to sell your horse/coats-if you feel the need to break this rule, it will mean an instant forum ban...

** Sales ads are NOT allowed in any public forums. Asking for spare coats will now be considered a sales ad. This includes stating that you plan to sell a coat, or point out coats for sale in sales.

* Do not use this place as a spot for rants or complaints-About coats/BG/or each other.

* This is not the place to ask players to price your coats, or to ask others the worth of a coat, you can check uses on your own by hovering your mouse over the gray apple and price it from there.

* This is not the place to bring up the subject of stolen images. Keep in mind that the rules of the BP used to be very different, and many old coats are from that time.
There is not any reason to bring that up, or report the coats.

*Please do not do a coat countdown for soon to retire coats.

* Please do not post coats that are currently in the GA and have either not retired, or will never retire.

* Please do not post coat/bg combos or ask opinions on them, except following coat release.

* Some coats may be removed in the future, whether that be for problems with the coats itself or just because they're clearing room on the server to allow other coats to be uploaded - if you're buying retired coats, please keep that in mind. If you want a permanent copy, I would recommend saving the graphic to your computer

* How to discover who many uses a New GC coat will retire-There is now a coat countdown in the GA, and it will show how many have been used and how many uses there are left.

** There is now a new creations directory which shows all coats. Go to Community>>>Directories>>>Creations>>>Click more criteria, and on the left hand side is a gold and silver apple. Click the silver apple and search to see all retired coats.

* To see who created/how many uses/name/or if you have it already of a RC coat, simply click on the silver apple, and it will tell you.

*** Posting links to other player's coats is NOT allowed and can mean a forum ban.

I'm confused... it at least used to say 50/100 were used so you couldn't get anymore. I'm not seeing anything.

The draft never even showed up for me. I have to wake up early tomorrow morning so I may try to grab it then. The new system is _very_ clunky though in my opinion.

Seems like a minority here but the new system went smooth, fast, and easy for me. Quickly got all the coats I needed with no problems.

Had all horses in their own tab already set up on GA page, then just went through and ticked 'Retiring' once the new coats came online, clicked the coat I wanted and approved it.

I also agree that the new system went smoothly. However..

Just realizing now that trying to pick out landscapes that it doesn't preview the coat on the background, just the regular horse. Very irritating, no? Shouldn't we be able to preview what we're really buying to see if it matches?

Same here, I don't really like the coloring choice of the page, but I gotta admit that it made picking up the new coat that much easier for me due to the bigger size.

Are the people who've been getting GA's now all VIP? I'm so nervous I've just missed the release haha, says 11am tomorrow for me default smiley :)

I think it's just an issue with Harmony Pack horses. I can see the coat with horses that just had a GA applied, but not those with a Harmony Pack.

I got all of the coats I wanted, but I do find it a bit stressful having to first click the coat I want, and then clicking the "get" button to buy it. It added an extra click, whereas before we just had to click the green "choose" button under the coat. I suppose it's something that I'll get used to, and be more aware of in the future, but I'd rather have a single click. Not sure how it'd work with the scrolling payment banner though.

I agree, But I also feel like there would be a lot of upset players if they clicked a coat and it automatically bought it. Also a lot more accidents. Especially since you used to be able to click them to see them bigger.



Yeah... I didn't spend much time matching my boats this time because I don't want to fight with it until that is fixed. Luckily there were a bunch of decent matches in the new rays this release.

I have to say, I was fully expecting Frost Stance to be a limited edition coat! Same creator as Winter Glow from the last release. I would add a photo but can't get my hands on one default smiley (8)

Not my favourite release but I'll definitely be going for the riding peggy RC to keep, and maybe the riding uni.

Do the limited coats stop showing up once their limit for pre release has been hit?
I want that unicorn pony one sooo bad! When when I go to apply a GA I don’t see it. I don’t even see the coat with the 50/100 under it..

It seems like no, there was no wait time. According to my item history I used a GA at 18:00:53.

VIP release is usually always on the hour, but normal release tends to be 5 minutes past the hour, but the latter might no longer be true due to the page redesign.

Good thing I tried right on the dot! It was my first early release so I didn’t know there was no 5 minute delay.

I haven’t used harmony packs and even with just a regular GA and ray, I don’t see the correct coat against the background. I hope it gets fixed.

They now seem to disappear if you've used a copy or it's hit the VIP limit. I made a suggested in the dev update topic to add it back. I liked being able to see it, even if I couldn't get another copy until regular release.

You can still see the VIP Release coats by going to:

1. Click Community Tab

2. Click Directories

3. Click “Creations” tab in the far right

4. Click “Date” header to sort coats by date from newest to oldest

5. After doing the above, go to page 4. It has one of the retired coats and shows 50 out of 100 of the coats have been used.

Same here. I even thought it was not released for our server, because I never saw it at all. I learn just now that I read you it actually came, and I never managed to even see it before the 50 copies are taken. This NEVER happened to me before.

Not showing at all if all gone? Another rubbish update then in my opinion. I would still want to see the coat and favourite it for normal release if I missed one!

Also means some people might just assume a coat was not available here if the previews were from the French server, whom have had coats we don't get on occasions. I know most of us check in here but still...
