This thread is here to show off your Retired Coats. This is not the place to post non retired coats. **The two exceptions would be coats that have been pulled (brief discussions) and the pre release coats.

REMEMBER:

******** absolutely no sales talk, no talk about spares or how many extras of a copy you got and selling them to fund your RC habit this is just a place to talk RCs

* although links and graphics are ok on this thread, they are not allowed normally on public forums

* any negative or unkind comments on artists or coats (or anyone!) will be removed, and depending on the case, it might mean an instant forum ban.

* DO NOT use this as a place to sell your horse/coats-if you feel the need to break this rule, it will mean an instant forum ban...

** Sales ads are NOT allowed in any public forums. Asking for spare coats will now be considered a sales ad. This includes stating that you plan to sell a coat, or point out coats for sale in sales.

* Do not use this place as a spot for rants or complaints-About coats/BG/or each other.

* This is not the place to ask players to price your coats, or to ask others the worth of a coat, you can check uses on your own by hovering your mouse over the gray apple and price it from there.

* This is not the place to bring up the subject of stolen images. Keep in mind that the rules of the BP used to be very different, and many old coats are from that time.
There is not any reason to bring that up, or report the coats.

*Please do not do a coat countdown for soon to retire coats.

* Please do not post coats that are currently in the GA and have either not retired, or will never retire.

* Please do not post coat/bg combos or ask opinions on them, except following coat release.

* Some coats may be removed in the future, whether that be for problems with the coats itself or just because they're clearing room on the server to allow other coats to be uploaded - if you're buying retired coats, please keep that in mind. If you want a permanent copy, I would recommend saving the graphic to your computer

* How to discover who many uses a New GC coat will retire-There is now a coat countdown in the GA, and it will show how many have been used and how many uses there are left.

** There is now a new creations directory which shows all coats. Go to Community>>>Directories>>>Creations>>>Click more criteria, and on the left hand side is a gold and silver apple. Click the silver apple and search to see all retired coats.

* To see who created/how many uses/name/or if you have it already of a RC coat, simply click on the silver apple, and it will tell you.

*** Posting links to other player's coats is NOT allowed and can mean a forum ban.

They would be released at the time of the coat release. Take a look at the Creation Space to see when the next coat release will be in your time zone.

Actually, the background on this coat I remember being under 40 uses. I used to have all the backgrounds under 100 uses in my forum, but unfortunately, I lost their pictures to do photobucket suddenly charging. I still have their names though.

Although mine are so scattered thru herds I don't know if I would find them all.. it the same with my companions.. on retired coats mostly but so scattered I have no clue! lol

I have it started! default smiley :) If you did not know, you can:

Go to directories < Landscapes < Select more options < Toggle the already used box < sort creations by date to where the oldest ones are first. If you click on the picture and it takes you to a screen that says "There are no landscapes matching your search criteria." then it is retired. This will only show you all the creations you have, and most of the older ones are retired. From 2011-I'm pretty sure between the 17th and the 22nd of February 2014.

.... So um what's going on? A few weeks ago, 20-30 of my 100 use coats dropped 15+ uses, and today i checked and literally all of them are back where they were before

Is someone killing bunches of RCs, or....? default smiley :o

Well I know that there are 101 pages of retired ones. So if you go to the directories and sort by date (up or down) then you can see what ones are on your horses, thanks to the little horse icon next to the ones you have. About the only way I know how to search for them.

Is it possible to open a topic for the retired Helios rays backgrounds? Kind of like the companion coats gallery for HOGs. That way players would have a place to discuss retired rays and it wouldn't clog up the retired coats gallery topic?

I have all the retired backgrounds finish collecting them in 2016, several of them can be
seen in my farm ancient horizon under Sølv Ævle Farm

Many others are in the Gammel HR under their time shall come
And another handful in the farm /Gammel HR 2016 under 2016/2017/2018

otherwise this icon indicates that they have a retired background ♠

There should be at least a couple of hundreds to get you started matching with directories if any of you wish to make a list, I'd triple checked that those do have retired backgrounds.

I would like to know about that Sighthoundlady coat too as I had it named in the low 120s as well. I think it's called Butterscotch.

I also got all the retired rays right before they retired. So glad I did too. Many of them are scattered in my farms but some are in my retired Helios haven farm.

It would appear that the numbers went back to the exact amount before that massive account deletion. This is not just affecting the numbers of the recently retired. It's affecting every coat that went down in numbers due to the accounts being deleted. It's as if Howrse lost it's current data, and had to retrieve it's old info, but only specifically in this area. I think it's just a glitch, and Howrse will iron it out. I hope. Cause honestly, it was nice seeing my coats get much rarer. It would be nice if Howrse deleted the accounts from 2007 first, before the ones from 2017 that got semi abandoned.

For those who do not know how if works, this was how it was put to me, back in the day, by others more informed then myself.

The computer system takes the most recently visited accounts that the player abandoned 6 months ago. They start to delete them and they slowly go backwards. The last accounts to be deleted would be the 2007's. So far they have never had to go back that far because they find enough space for their new project.

I really feel those should be the first to go, since those players are less likely to rejoin then the players who gave it up temporarily so they could focus on school, or life, or just dealing with the massive problems we have today.
