Will-o'-the-wisp surprised me when he decided to pop out of my second tyches crown! I'm glad he saved some for whatever divine is next in that item that I want lol

I opened 13 tyches but still no Will-o'-the-wisp and still only 1/5 of fragments needed!

Opened 23 more and still nothing. Spent all 7k passes but got nothing

Guys, you only need to open 16 Crowns if you participate in the event.
The price is fixed to 2600p for EVERY event.


If you don't want to take part in the event, that's another matter.

WHY on earth is Misaki set so high in the HoP???!! 33 fragments per HoP is ridiculous, a wild horse is definitely not worth 3000 passes, especially since they go in the reserved sale for 900 (not to mention they USED to be 400-500 passes back in the days...)

3000 passes for a wild is completely insane! I would NEVER pay such a ridiculous price for a wild. Especially considering you won't make back anywhere close to what you spent

I decided to open the one HoP I got from Xanthos this week after using my stash on diplomas and employees last weekend and got Misaki! It's always fun to get a horse on the first try.

Xanthos HoPs are free so I'm not complaining about the wild. If anything, I'm rejoicing because I haven't done so much as look at a wild since they were thrown in the TC/GF and then the reserveds. At least now I can get them completely for free instead. And I won't be surprised if Howrse priced them higher because they know that players stock up on HoPs so they just won't make any money whatsoever if they make them cheap because players will get them with inventory HoPs too easily. That and Howrse has been throwing out cash grabs left, right and center with all the pass weekends, good divines and reserveds lately so... I'm guessing that chucking the wilds in the reserveds didn't do the money magic, so they're in HoPs now. Specifically after diplomas and priced high as another clear cash grab. Sounds like a Howrse thing to do so I'm not surprised.

The wild is free if you saved up. If you have no impulse control and you splurge every week then you shouldn't expect to win any divines at all because lucking out is rare. If you splurged last week then either accept the loss this week or pay up. It takes time to save and you're simply not going to win them all without paying up. I agree that the price is absurd if you pay (almost) completely in passes, but it’s still a free divine if you use Xanthos HoPs. Or you can at least lower the cost with items you got for free. The reserveds force you to pay in passes, and quit frankly the price is more than what you profit. Howrse was lucky if I even clicked the banner for the reserveds - that's how little I cared. But now they're in the HoPs so I might actually try for them. I'm simply not wasting passes on a perk with an expiry date. But putting him in the HoPs immediately makes him worth a few tries - always nice to win a pass dropper for free. And if I don't luck out in those few tries then I'll just try again on the next offer.

Black friday rant:
Happy to say that I lucked out in 5 or 6 HoPs earlier. Which is REALLY lucky because I don't actually have enough HoPs to fill the meter and there's no way in hell I'm spending hundreds of passes on the last few HoPs for a perk with an expiry date. That said, it definitely doesn't make up for all the meters I had to fill...

Hi! I have opened 28 Tyche's Crowns and still no Will-o'-the-wisp. That is 4760 passes!! Does it normally take this many or more to get a Divine?? I have many Divines and don't remember ever spending that much to get one!!

If you read my post you'll see that I opened 28!!! So I don't know where the 16 came from but it is very wrong!! Or there is another bug in the system. I sent a ticket to Howrse and I'll see what they say. Did anyone else have this issue or did you get the Divine with 16 Crowns?

I did read your post. You misunderstood me.

What Nalu means is that if you participate in the event, and complete all your daily objectives (to obtain fragments) you will only need to open 16 Crowns to get the *remaining fragments*. Unless you get lucky and get all remaining fragments in 1 go.

Will’o-the-wisp will still be available for the next few weeks. You can obtain the remaining fragments through the event and objectives, so you will definitely get her if you play and complete them.

But if we are supposed to get the Divine with only 16 Crowns why do you think I opened 28 and still didn't get it? Do you think it could be a glitch or are there times that you don't actually get the Divine with only 16 Crowns? I spent A LOT of money and still didn't get the Divine. I'm just trying to figure out what happened. Thank you!

Will o' the Wisp will be in crowns for the duration of two short events instead of one longer one.

Throughout both of the events, you can get fragments of the divine. At the end of the second event, you need to open about 16 crowns to get the rest of the fragments.

Because you opened the crowns early, you don't have the fragments from the promotions, so it would have taken you more than 16 crowns.

But is it normal to open 48 Crowns and still not get anything?? That's more than $70 US Dollars!!! I just bought a Divine and only paid $40 and it came with passes and items worth a lot of passes. So for future games do I wait until the very end then try to get it after I've collected all of the fragments that I can? Thank you everyone for all of your help!!

Yeah, you're going to want to wait for the end of the event (both events in this case) once you've gotten as many free fragments as possible before you start opening crowns. If you've done all that, it should take around 16 crowns (sometimes more if you didn't get the optimal free fragments, or less if you get lucky). 48 is about what I'd expect to spend for week 1 of the event.

This was a weird case cause the Divine was split across 2 events but they do that sometimes.

If you want to open your crowns early, to see if you luck out, just open 16. Then, do your objectives and the event(s). If by chance you missed some of the free frags from the objectives or events at the end of the promo, then open more crowns to make the difference. Otherwise, yes wait until the end to get the fragments and decide to open crowns or save them for the next time they come around. This will save you the most passes.

Got my onyx after 16 TC openings. then got my diamond divine. then I got a second onyx after opening 6 TC. Definity worth it. I am gonna probably take a break from the weekend offers for a while unless they offer the Egyptian divines.

5 inventory GF, an accidental use of a HW Staff, and 1 pass bought GF, my easiest Spice in quite awhile. Now I just need Cumin, Cinnamon, Clove, and Wasabi to finish up the older divines in the series.

8 Fleeces. All 1 star and not a sniff of paprika. Rubbish. I'm done.

Nothing yet. 3000 passes spent on GFs in 3 batches by 1000 since morning. Only 2 of those were 3 star GFs and 1 was 2 star; the rest were 1 star. At 405 fragments for Paprika. Meaning I will have to spent at least 4000 more passes to get it. Cute, Howrse. Not that I expected anything else...

I will say, for an older, lower pass dropper, I was pretty surprised it was only 27 drags per fleece instead of the 35 drags per titans we’ve had for spices recently.
