I understand what you're saying but I think you're missing the point. It's not fair for those who can't buy passes period. Why should it be only possible to buy him with real money. I think that's the thing players are upset about.

Since there's a Weekend offer every week it also makes it hard to build up your passes unless you have divines like the Gemstone or Metal that give you passes. Not everyone is perfect with being able to give up and save their passes if it's a divine that they love or have wanted forever. Then there's the Trophies and some require you to have certain divines to get the Trophies. Why bother with that if their going to make it next to impossible to even get them...

Howrse's economy technically is bad so if it takes forever to get passes from selling horse then it makes it also harder in regards to Black Friday as usually the better divines are more expensive.

I think it's a more complex issue that simply the fragment amount...

Thoth was previously under 10k to max, now he is around 30k, over 3 times the amount he was previously. The staff is precious, but not precious enough to justify expecting players to pay roughly £200 worth of passes to get it.

As respectfully as possible, this is a very naïve comment. For years Howrse has been inflating the value of divines and trying to squeeze every last penny out of their player base. To suggest we can simply 'share feedback with contact us' is insane. We've shared feedback time and time and time again (the trophy update being just one example) and every time we've been ignored. After the overwhelmingly negative trophy feedback, plus the CONSTANT feedback that we don't care for nor want the donkeys in the Great Challenge that has been watered down from one of the best promos to yet another 'buy this worthless key for more money' event, to introduce a FOUR fragment drop rate for ANY divine is an insult. This game is shamelessly greedy and relies on players who have played since childhood and can't stand to see their beloved game stripped back to nothing. Even if Thoth dropped a staff 20 times a year (spoiler: he doesn't) it would take 2 and a half YEARS just to break even if you used every staff for a Nyx (and Howrse knows that most players will use the staff for a 200p luck item to try in vain for the weekend promos). It's not that the staff is 'precious' to us - it's that having divines who drop those items makes it easier for us to save our money the next time a pathetic 'promo' comes round that averages at £200+ per divine.

I'm sure you mean well, but please don't patronise the players who have spent thousands on this game just to see our community and gameplay destroyed at the hands of greedy corporate management.

However this is how the creators of the game decided it to be,

I think the best to do is not buying passes, and if you want to get a specific divine, you should have enough amount of passes, which might be difficult with Thoth, yet I think this is done by creators of the game to make Thoth nearly impossible to get. He has to be previous other wise there will be none sense of buying passes to get other bmi items. In the same the game would be too. “easy” and thinking as owner of the business decreasing value of passes is the least thing game management would do.

This game means a lot to me and I agree some changes that were made over time probably shouldn’t take place, but yet here we all are still playing it because we love spending our time here.

True, but for players who run high-prestige EC's the HoP offer gives them a chance to get the expert diploma, which is helpful for employee prestige.

The employee-HoP offer is beneficial if you have lots of inventory HoPs stored. Divines (especially good ones) aren't in the HoPs that often, so I save my Xanthos HoPs primarily for the employee and diploma offer. The Instructor is the only one I ever spend passes on

I tried for Croesus in January, but with no success. With Black Friday around the corner I didn’t want to use up my passes trying again to no avail, but on a whim I decided to buy only one Titan’s Challenge. Not only did I get the 812 fragments of Croesus I needed, I also got a Pandora’s Box, Medusa’s Blood, 1500 points for the overall ranking, Hermes’ Winged Staff, and a Hestia’s Gift! I was totally shocked! What a crazy unexpected blessing!

I don't pay attention to them on this server. They don't seem to show on mobile, which is what I first log in on, and by the time I log into classic it's over. I rarely see them

1 Challenge for my Hamster!

Decided to try for the golden hamster bc of the “fixed” drop rate I heard of, and to my surprise I got him in two TCs!!! A great addition for me considering I don’t have much luck *at all* with divines! first I got 110 fragments then made it to level five and got 10,000 equus, 1 A heel, 1 bolt, a bit of food, and 950ish frags!

After spending SO MANY PASSES not to get Thoth or Croesus last week, I wasn't even going to bother this week. But after reading people's comments here just now I was like, oh what the heck let's try ONE Titan's Challenge and just see what happens. Got the Golden Hamster on the FIRST TRY genuinely shocked. My jaw actually dropped. Now I just have to figure out how to tame it?? Is there somewhere that talks about how the pet divines work?
