It really isn't fair to put " receive an item through item donations " as a daily objective. That isn't a task anyone can do for themselves. I have once
again fulfilled all the daily objective and am going to loose out on the HOP because of that one. Really sucks to have removes horns from unicorns and used up black market items to get tricked right at the end

Yea I can’t understand why they do that newer players don’t have money to buy unicorns just to dehorn them aswell as covering female donkeys and drafts this probably isn’t allowed but like you said have to rant somewhere

Honestly questioning why I continue to try with the Golden Fleece, in the last 20ish I've gotten almost all one stars, with two or three stars a total of about 3 times. It's discouraging and really makes me feel like I have been ripped off. I wasn't trying for the divine, but it's still disheartening to get the same result over and over again.

10 Fleeces (1 -3 stars, 1 -2 stars, others 1 star) got me humiliating 64 fragments, seem like a waste of passes

I feel the same way about TCs. I have never won a divine from them, getting to level 5 is a miracle for me. I wanted to collect all the Grails but I just feel so discouraged by the TCs that I stopped trying. I wish Howrse would create a place where we could exchange fragments. You want my Sushi fragments? Great! Can I have some of Gawain's?

Oh gosh - I wanted Croesus but I think I don't even want to try ... I spent so many passes on Thracius to complete my collection. Can't afford thousands now on fleeces...

I got 3 stars but only got 10 dust

I have wanted Croesus forever (this is a new account after hiatus deletion from 2014) I saved up for something really special to me. ug! why did I bother?! 4600 passes and 350 fragments to show for it and mostly 1 star BMIs. And like an idiot, I bought some of the passes. no more, Howrse! At this point I could have paid for something real for my real horse. I know, stupid pass buyers keep this game afloat, but I will no longer be one of them.

I'm honestly just over this 15-20k pass price tag to fill the meter for the weekend divines. That's £100-140 of real money, and it is absolutely wild to me that so many divines have been priced that steeply. Over one hundred pounds for a horse that gives 100 passes per month, maybe 200 twice in a year? That's 12 hours of work at minimum wage (£8.91 p/h) here in the UK. I have bought into the weekend offers, once with real money and many other times with passes I've earnt in game, but I'm just so tired of seeing so many divines be maximum price, and it concerns me for how much Howrse may inflate this maximum price in the future.

I understand that the buying of passes is what fuels the game and I appreciate those who give up their hard-earned cash to contribute to the game's economy and ensure the other players can continue to enjoy Howrse for free, but it just seems wrong to me that Jade, Sapphire, Ruby, Croesus, Jupiter, Saturn, Mars and undoubtedly more are all set at over £100 each if you are the unlucky one. I also understand that most people won't have to fill the meter (I personally have won Jade, Sapphire and Mars without having to), but even the fact that some players will have to pay that much for these divines seems ridiculous to me.

Yeah, I opened 14 Fleeces hoping to luck out and nope! No Croesus. But I know his price tag is high, so it was a gamble I knew the risks of walking into. Not a big deal. Plus with Fleeces you're guaranteed to walk away with BMI's, so I at least stocked up on customization items and a few others.

If I'm able to sell some horses this weekend I'll try again. But if anyone is looking through here be warned! He's pricey and his fragment amount is low, so if you try for him just know that you might spend all your passes and not end up with him. Just a little warning because it always makes me sad seeing people spend everything to not get what they were hoping for out of it.

I agree, that's R2000-R2842 in my currency. Keeping in mind a good well paying basic starting salary is around R6000-R7000 per month. It's so expensive. I get exchange rates but like really? I've bought a couple hundred passes when there was a good deal so if there was a good promo, I might. If the promos were better perhaps more people would buy and it's time to consider that. Even when I do start earning pounds I have zero intention of spending it on this game.

Scratched two fleeces and got 89 fragments in the first one and 49 in the second! I might buy passes to fill the meter especially if I get a pass ufo (anyone know if those are happening this weekend?)

Exactly. In my opinion, regardless of the divine, it shouldn't cost more than a £50 pack, which is 6500 passes, which should be more than enough to fill the meter. I know divines like Balios give a roughly 7000 pass value back every year if its breeder keeps it, but divines should be an investment that pay you back over time, not taking 5+ years to break even. For all we know the game might not even be around in 5 years, so you're literally gambling here on whether or not you will get your money's worth.

We have them roughly every 4 weeks, so since they were here last weekend we probably won't see them until the end of the month at the earliest.

I have opened 34 HoPs and I have not gotten even one expert diploma. It’s safe to say I am not very happy with the HoPs lately.

Got 52 fragments in my first fleece, and then got Emerald on my second, very good week for weekend divine hunters

Got Emerald on my sixth GF. Happy with that. Two divines with Topaz.

Lucky you guys, I'm on like 760 fragments and still nothing Will probably sell everything and use all APs on wilds before I manage to get anything
