It's always going to be a case of gambling, mainly because of the nature of the TCs. It's a LUCK item after all, so your experience might differ from others', based on your luck.

Whilst I should probably be mad at myself over how many passes I used to get Jade I don't care bc he's just so pretty <3

The minimum amount of fragments per TC is 9. Had you used 30k passes to open TCs ( which would have equated to 150 TCs ) AND every single TC had given you the minimum amount of fragments ( which is 9 ), you would have gotten a total of 150 x 9 = 1350 fragments. Which is 350 fragments over filling the meter.

So... Either you did your math wrong, or the minimum amount of fragments is different ( which I doubt ) and you were extremely unlucky.

At most, Jade will cost you, 22400p (very unlikely)
At least, Jade will cost you, 10600p (very unlikely)
On average, Jade will cost you, 16600p (likely)

Unless you get to level 7, which is pretty likely within 100 Challenges.

I just opened one of my only two TCs, well, RIP TC. I only got 18 fragments, unfortunately. I for one am not opening another one though.

I'm getting 10-19 fragments per challenge, for the record.

So... erm... 6 TCs later I have a Jade! 4 TCs were from inventory, 1 from another TC, and 1 was paid for with passes. I am very, very happy

I'm so excited I could scream. I didn't have high hopes knowing how expensive this divine is, but 6 TCs later and I am the proud pixel momma of a beautiful Jade!

I got him in 2 TCs read the lucky replies and after convincing myself I couldn't because I had almost no passes, I just went for it. Never have I gotten this lucky with TCs, I'm shocked.

What are your guys strategies when it comes to claiming on TCs? I personally claiming on items like staffs, TCs, Harmony and Hera Packs, P Stones, MAs, and HG, while always going forward if the TC has been complete trash with its drops. From personal experience, whenever you get a TC or Staff, about 90% of the time you will lose on the next level or the one after, so I am just curious.

OMG just came here to say i got Jade in 25 TC's (5000 passes) and how happy i am. Then I see everyone saying they got multiple now im like ooooh do i? don't i?.... argh howrse why you make me spend For the record I was mainly getting 10 - 20 frags too (how stingey!) till the last one!

If you're referring to me, I got my Jades from the original promo in 2011 (technically a month later because they had one of those wonderful "Win the contest and take home the Divine of YOUR CHOICE!", where I picked him without thinking about it) and in 2014 when it was offered for 15 passes, I would NEVER go for multiples in a luck item promo.

SOMEHOW I won Jade with only 3 TCs ???!?? Two I bought with passes and the third I won at level 5 from the previous TC, so only spent 400 passes.

I graduated high school today, so it must be good luck!

I do think it must be a good luck day too, I wrote a note on my mom's lunch that said "Today will be a good day", and also many of my friends graduated today as well.
