These are all the Black Market items I got during my opening; I didn't tally up the pass value, but I did the total, which was 31 items if I counted correctly. I am not sure what they have done to the horns, but I am not complaining in the slightest, it's a massive improvement from going horn after horn without a Black Market item.

I got no divines but that was highly expected with such a generous offer. I did win 1x MA, 1x HP, couple of Achilles' Heels and few bonuses for the Grand Prix so I am 100% happy. I really wanted Pixiu though. I am gonna stroke my Xanthos' and see if I get some bonus HoP's, if not, then I'll touch my passes.

Opened 41 HoPs, got 2 divines, and about 23 BMIs. I'm not very happy with the BMIs to HoP ratio, I don't remember it being so poor (could just be my luck today)

Got mine after opening only 4 hops! All from inventory plus one was won in the other hop I opened. Super happy!

So, I told myself, each blup I do today I get to open a horn, I did two mustangs so far, so two extra horns... I got another divine on the second... not sure which one to grab now that I have them all. Shemna has a good perk but I already have 4, which gives the aging point bonus on most days, but Longma is a two in one deal. Tricky decision.

Decided on a second Qilin, now that I am actively building a female unicorn farm it would be nice to have that backup for days where I have to cover a lot of unicorns. I also got another P Stone in the same horn.

Sounds like a good plan to reward yourself for blups! I've already spent the 6 I'm allowing myself (leaving 5 in my inventory... not good when I was planning to save for the next time EC diplomas come up!) I got 109 fragments. I'm trying to tell myself the Poseidon pack and Cloud were worth it!

If I got one I was going to get another Longma, since I like her perk: 100% guarantee to find a tub of grease. And she gives Chitu!

This set of divines really do give nice little perks for different areas of gameplay.

I opened a few HOPs and got a GA, Harmony Pack, Bonus Pack, and a Z Bolt, so I’m happy! Plus with some of the minor BMI’s, I got more in passes then I paid for the HOPs, still going for Quilin though

I've got to say though, I've been a bit disappointed in Quillin. It hadn't really filtered through before getting him that his (none existent) GP would influence the GP of his foals. I don't like the idea of producing lots of low GP junk foals (unicorn or otherwise), so he's sitting in my breeding farm with useless skill from one covering, eating loads (he's a big boy....). I guess he does give a fertility wand at least! But I wish they'd change how he works so at least he doesn't wreck GP. Having to reserve a covering from him to individual mares is a pain too, especially since you couldn't tell which ones were due to be covered without looking at them.

That's the same as I feel about him - his GP is rubbish and to be honest I'd rather find a 500e high GP stallion in public covers for my unicorns, they'll be worth much more. In my opinion it should be like Etrian but maybe not as high, just updated frequently to be a decent stallion.

I wish there was also an option for him where you can just offer a covering up to any of your mares on his page, and then go find the mare you want to cover him to and take the covering from her page rather than having to reserve the coverings to specific mares - if you breed a lot of unicorns that gets really tedious and annoying.

I personally don't mind the low GP, females unicorns will be added to the farm, males will be dehorned for objectives, while non unis will be used for donating objectives, so they all serve their own purpose. That said, I ain't a competitive uni breeder, so the GP wouldn't really bother me.

question: are the chinese divines even really worth it without a VIP subscription? ik they're considered super valuable, but theyre kinda useless in terms of just their base perks, so im wondering if i should even bother??

and yeah of course quilin doesnt need a subscription, and i did wanna get him, but his genetic is so low im not sure anymore if theres much point in trying to get him for my unis :/

For the chinese especially their value is really dependent on the player and how they choose to play their game. I would only really recommend someone without VIP trying if you have HoPs in your inventory already, but that's just my personal opinion. I got two divines with 5 from inventory, but I wouldn't have tried had I needed to use passes.

I had 45 inventory HoPs, filled the scale at the 7th Horn and then my luck betrayed me - spent all other HoPs plus paid for 9 extra to get the second horse. Not sure I'll try again

Also worth pointing out that besides the perks, they also get skill points every day their perk doesn't activate. With some careful allocation of those skills they can become good equus winners in divine comps pretty quickly.

Agree, I wouldn't go mad with the passes, but they are definitely worth a few inventory passes.

Short on aging points? Shenma
Got starving plant divines? Tianma
Serious about the Grand Prix and winning rosettes? Longma
Do lots of missions and could do with a few extra equus? Pixiu
Breed junk unicorns for profit and objectives, or need wands: Quillin

And Huanglong's extra energy does make a difference more often than you'd expect!

And if you are a VIP then the extra perks get really cool!

in the end i decided to pick quilin, i figured he'd be pretty helpful with draft unis ^_^

Oh my gosh, you're right, I was facing an issue where I had tons of female uni drafts, but only a male or two between the lot, so that solves that problem.

Opened 6 HOPs, got some decent BMI. Got Quilin on my last one Happy with my luck!

About 17 to 22 fragments in each HOP

Holy cow! I just opened 4 HoPs and got 2 divines. Picked Shenma and Tianma. First time I’ve gotten divines from luck items. Good luck to everyone else who’s trying for them! Also, for anyone interested, in both cases I got a divine from a HoP which also gave me a Water of Youth. Not sure if that’s significant, but it’s a funny coincidence.

First HOP I opened I got a divine. Shocked is an understatement... Never had that sort of luck in 14 years of play!

The remainder were terribly unlucky however so it all balances out

Opened 4 more and got another divine, a nyx and arms so. Officially can't complain

Whatever they've done to the HoPs, I approve
