[FT] Howrse Spotters

Hello,
Had a little look inside my ec forum and found a good idea.
why don't we play Howrse spotters!
It's very simple you just need to find an extraordinary Howrse and put the link to his page here.
We could look for the Oldest, the fattest, the skinniest, the biggest number of wins in one type of competition and so on, i'll let you imagine which ones we can search together.
Good searching ! default smiley ;)

These 3 were the closest I found. There were a couple other palomino coats, but they weren't very golden.

Golden Ingot

~ Stara ~

GreenInMane

If it wasn't one of these, which one(s) are close in terms of color or leg position or whatever? There are a few other palomino running coats

Hi guys, I'm looking for any native american themed backgrounds? I asked earlier but my question didn't get any answer and I'm having trouble finding some. If you guys know of any, any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I looked for probably about twenty minutes and couldn't find any. Someone else might have better luck. If one can not be found, I would try a plains/forest one. A few of them might fit the bill

Does anyone know of any Jester-like coats? I've stumbled upon a few in the past, I also saw one in the voting that I really liked. But despite my searches I cannot find any, nor can I find the one that was in the voting. I guess that it didn't make it through. It was almost Harley Quinn-ish in a way? Anything would be great. Thank you!

No, none of these are them, but I would say ~ Stara ~ is the closest in leg positioning. But yeah, the coat was pretty gold/yellow. Thank you anyway!!!default smiley :-))default smiley :-))

Is this similar to what you are looking for?

It is, thanks! Does anyone else have more, by any chance? I'm looking to start a collection.
Anyone know of any horse coats that look like a cookie or cookie/cake/food themed? Like maybe even just the pattern is speckledy? I have a horse called Cookie and want a coat to match her name?

I also found these here
Mountain FireSunny Cute
Staras Run Naemys
If none of these are it I would suggest going to the coat directories again and having a look. I found tons of options by selecting "pony" species and "brown" coats. There's a smaller selection under "yellow." Based on your description I could almost see a dozen other coats I didn't include making the list
Something else I do to make the selection a little smaller to look through is to look at the "golden apples" first, and then look at the retired coats. That way you might have only 20-30 pages to look through at a time instead of 60.

Can anyone find me a background that suits this coat? I'd appreciate it if you can message me the coat names as I tend to forget to check back in forums!

We aren't allowed to give suggestions on backgrounds for specific coats as it counts as an opinion poll.

By Retired breeder, 25th August 2016 22:22:16
Well that didn't work...
By Retired breeder, 25th August 2016 22:22:37
there we go
By Retired breeder, 25th August 2016 22:25:23
never mind found it
By Retired breeder, 25th August 2016 22:27:30

As Speedy said, we can't do that because of that making it an opinion poll, but, if you have any specific style of backgrounds you want to find, we can help you with that.default smiley 8-)

Does anyone know of any Wizard of Oz/Wicked the Musical style/inspired backgrounds?
By Retired breeder, 26th August 2016 00:59:46

Coats like those would likely be considered plagiarism, because here on Howrse we are not aloud to make coats based on things like books, movies, etc. If you wanted to try to find wizard or witch sort of coats, we can help you with that.....

Yeah, I'm not sure how close you could get before it violated copyright, though I thought I saw a yellow brick road type background once.
I did find these that reminded me of parts of the movie.

Oktober
(the scarecrow)

Lights
(it's a brick road and reminds me of walking through the creepy forest after Dorothy meets teh Tin Man)

Poppy Field
(I think it was a poppy field the characters fell asleep in wasn't it?)

You could also maybe try searching for green backgrounds to see if you might find an emerald/green building to represent the emerald city?

Does anyone know which horse was the first 7000 GP horse?
By Retired breeder, 26th August 2016 01:25:14
Thank you default smiley (y)

I can't give a definitive answer since it was a couple of days ago, but it was a Gypsy Vanner.

This is one of them, with a GP of 7000.10.
