[FT] Howrse Spotters

Hello,
Had a little look inside my ec forum and found a good idea.
why don't we play Howrse spotters!
It's very simple you just need to find an extraordinary Howrse and put the link to his page here.
We could look for the Oldest, the fattest, the skinniest, the biggest number of wins in one type of competition and so on, i'll let you imagine which ones we can search together.
Good searching ! default smiley ;)

Are there any coats of a silver horse?

There are lots of coats that would fit this description...

Please use the coat directories. All you would need to do is select the species you want and the colour grey, and plenty will show up.

Thanks Speedy, I'll take a look. Before I go, are there any coats of a fairy horse or a mermaid-ish horse?

Does anyone have coats that look sort of like Dragons? Or Christmas horses?
By Retired breeder, 7th August 2016 00:54:23
Also, could someone give me the status of these cotats?

Does anyone know of any coats representing Yin and Yang? Thank you~!

To those of you wondering which coat x coat is, all you have to do to figure that out is click a GA on a horse, look at the URL of it:

http://www.howrse.com/marche/noir/object?qName=pomme-or&creation=(Numbers)

Where you see '(Numbers)', use the GA's image code: (I put '**' where the image code is located), and copy and paste the image code into where '(Numbers)' is. Erase '(Numbers)' first, though, obviously.

1kkurtz has topics in her forum that have coats of the exact themes you're looking for.

Something like this?

Name: light&darkness
By Retired breeder, 7th August 2016 04:23:47

Yes! Like that!.... but I already have that one. default smiley :s

Though this does work for GAs, it doesn't work for retired coats. It only brings up the GA page rather than a specific coat. The second link you provided is an example of this - you can't paste the numbers '3211' to replace another coat's numbers to find that specific coat.

So this could be a good way for searching for GAs/finding out whether the coat is retired or not, but it would still require a bit of searching for RCs. default smiley (y)

The image code will vary based on coat. You can find RCs like this, though. Just put the image code of the RC, you can find out the RC's name, then look in the directories to find its exact uses. default smiley (y)

There are lots?? In every colour probably? The Creation Directory is a thing that exists, it should be relatively easy for you to find a coat with a long mane and tail.

It doesn't seem to be working for me... Maybe it's just my laptop. default smiley (lol)

I'll try again when I next have the chance to! It would be useful if I could get it to work-

It might be.

Here is how I'd do it; the code will be for the RC coat Larin Mod.

RC number: 100222505

GA page URL:
http://www.howrse.com/marche/noir/object?qName=pomme-or&creation=(Add number here.)

Will turn into:

http://www.howrse.com/marche/noir/object?qName=pomme-or&creation=100222505

Search that up and it comes up with the picture/creator/name of the RC. You can tell that's it's an RC by the fact that you cannot place it on your horse. Now just remember the number that it says; for this coat it shows: 300 / 300

Then look up the RC name in the creation directories:

Larin Mod

It shows it as having 293 items, which would mean 293/300 uses.

You can find the GA/RC number by opening the image of the coat in a new tab. The code will be in the URL. default smiley :)

I understand how to do it and I can get that link to work, but it's trying to get the one from before to work (pasting the numbers '3211' into the URL). I know I'm doing it right, but I also can't get the other RC at the top of this page to work, either.

It's odd how it seemingly works for a few but not others...

Don't worry too much about it. There are some that don't work for me either.

I was trying the thing disco said and I couldn't get it but it came up with this coat. I was wondering if this was even introduced into the game and if so, what is it's status?

Also, status on this?

Chestnut Champion by RobbinLara.
GA. Pre-CS.

The issue with the other coats is the fact that they are images from equidow, not our own server. default smiley ;)

Thank you disco!!! Oh, OK, that makes sense. Thanks again!
