Pintar-a 50/50/50 etc cross isnt possible, as 50/50 is only if there are two breeds, it wouls be like 3/3/3/3/3/ etc

it forgets the 'n'!

I'm just curious as to why you would consider that Connie more impressive if it was a pure? Is it because the breed is so low on GP right now that a pure one with those stats would be extremely awesome? Or is it that you think it is a matter of just throwing a couple of horses together and getting an awesome result? That Connie is impressive regardless, as all well-bred horses are. there are far too many poorly bred horses of both cross and pure, horses bred at less than 100 BLUP, untrained (and I mean bred this way from not knowing better or not caring, not ones intentionally bred for certain projects. I personally see a huge difference between breeding for the negative GP project, and breeding just because your mare is old enough to have a foal).

Any horse that has thought and effort behind it's breeding and training is impressive, and it stings to be told, 'it would be more impressive if it wasn't x', especially when you put the effort and time into breeding and training for a target. And it especially stings when the x is being a crossbred, because so many crossbreeders hear how their board topping horses are no good because they aren't pure, or people don't want to pay as much as they are worth on pure skills and whatnot because they aren't pure, etc.

We all need to be blind to the blue star, unless we are breeding for pure, and recognize a horse's merits on what the horse is capable of, not what it's parents were. A good horse is a good horse, regardless of heritage.

sellyelly101 - I've just ran into a horse similar. I've found an Arab cross blanketing all the Trot breed only 0% comps with the name "BLUPing please " with nearly 10k wins in Trot alone. Very furious with myself and the owner - myself for not checking, and the owner because I just got a 2nd place win to it with a BLUPing horse.

*sigh* The horrible, horrible greedy little plots on this site.

Yeah some of the howrses with the most wins on the game's name are 'blupping no stomp'' have a look!
