But its not only limited to people with access to preprod is it? Anyone who wants to see what is coming from there only has to go to the spoiler topic which is open to everyone. There they can see what is coming and ask questions about it as much as they like as long as they use the spoiler banner. Sure, but my point was that, in response to your statement: future plans or changes must never be released early and everyone on the dev team and Admin team will be very aware of that. It would seem that future plans and changes are in fact quite often released early, and neither the dev team nor Admin has apoplectic attacks as a result. It happens all the time without devastating effect and thus that argument against having a regular and completely open announcement would seem less cogent. Click to display Though there may indeed be perfectly valid reasons against it, I'm not saying otherwise. In fact, you could have made the more solid argument that there is a large section of players (assuming you weren't merely telling people that 'everyone' liked or did not like something I know not everyone checks the spoiler thread all the time, even those who want to know what is coming. It is also easy to miss something, especially if there are multiple topics being discussed or there is a lot of discussion. For instance, the discussion on the possibility of a rosette trophy change completely overshadowed the card collection change, which I'm not even sure was mentioned in the spoiler thread. Thus, the spoiler thread is not just as helpful as an official announcement in the dev update would be - which is why people are asking for one and not just checking the spoiler thread. Honestly I don't care very much either way. While it would definitely be nice to hear from the team what you guys are working on fixing, as opposed to a post in gameplay saying "this is broken, that is broken, we know," I also understand that you may not want to say that you are for sure going to fix something soon when you may end up leaving it broken, removing it, or giving it a rehaul (looking at you, Help Centre update). It should be noted that I am not pushing an agenda, nor am I targeting or "quoting... [mods] in a negative fashion when they are not able to defend themselves." I'm just providing critical feedback on changes, or lack thereof, and announcements made in this thread.

Are the new 'collectable cards' a joke?? The response to player complaints that there is no way to complete the card collection is to introduce a 'pay-to-complete' system that gives absolutely no reward whatsoever apart from some measly general ranking points after you buy up years' worth of collections??? The Retired Apple collection isn't completable either, so I figured it was just par for the course. I'm honestly a little surprised they responded with anything at all. But yeah, collections have no hold for me anymore, and I'm not even sure why you'd buy the old cards, they don't do anything.

Down with forbidden characters. I cannot believe that list is still being added to, on a game that is supposed to be “international”. Let me put emojis back in my horses’ names howrse

Click to display I think this might have to do with the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. They might not be wanting to be seen as funded or helped by a warring country. But you know, reasons for why they do things would still be nice to actually know about.

The embargo includes the payment processors. I run the webshop for my favourite rock band and we can't sell anything to our Russian fans at the moment because they can't pay us

--- Here's my feedback: The Equus or Pass counter is now updated without the page reloading when you receive free Equus or Passes from a divine horse. -- Never noticed, doesn't matter Added a "Mark as read" button in "My private mailbox". -- Doesn't matter Added Javanese characters to the list of forbidden characters -- What? Ridiculous --- Fix something that's important to players! Why can't you fix the Promotional Videos which have been broken for over a year??

I'm a bit confused with this one, for me the page never reloaded, but I had to refresh to see the counter updated, is the latter supposed to be the case now? I still have to refresh in order for the counter to change, at least when getting passes from my gems.

Chiming in as another person who'd like an explanation as to why specifically Javanese characters are now forbidden.

I know I’m late to this discussion, but I truly don’t understand why the trophies had to be replaced. We all know the phrase “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”- and trophies definitely weren’t broken. I’ll admit some of the divine collection ones were obscenely pricey, but if people chose to chase them anyway that is money in YOUR pocket. Why remove that? Don’t get me wrong, I DO like the new system, for its prizes and the excitement of hitting a new milestone and filling up the meter. What I DONT understand is why this had to replace the perfectly good trophy system? Why not simply add in a new achievement system if you wanted to do that? Also, the collections page is a nightmare to navigate- clearly just slapped in on an attempt to appease the people who had worked hard on their collections. It’s not good enough. Bring back the old trophies. Keep the new achievements. There is NO reason not to have both. The achievement system is fun! It’s cool! I genuinely applaud you for implementing it (even though I can think of a fair few things I would have preferred to get updated, but that’s another topic…) but to have it completely remove the trophies is an insult to your players and frankly shooting yourselves in the foot. LISTEN to your players, for the love of god. You cannot continue to run Microtransactions The Game if it’s not fun to play.

I don't speak Javanese, but I'm really confused about why it has been added to the list of banned characters. It's an international server, aren't all languages supposed to be allowed...? This seems unfair.

I'm a native english speaker and if my server was shut down and I was forced to join an international server that was french only I'd (reasonably) be a little miffed. When they created the official howrse discord it really struck me weird that they'd force everyone to speak english. Thats extremely weird to me that they would do that, especially since it's a French game. It's really giving colonization to me... I dont know maybe I'm the only one a little disappointed with howrse but to shut down server forums where they could speak their own language and to force them into a discord server where it's english only, is really odd.

The equus and passes from a Divine horse update seems pretty irrelevant. All it took was one refresher click, I never really paid much attention and never saw anyone else even mentioning it as a problem. The Javanese one is just confusing. I know that we're supposed to keep to one language in the public forums and that makes some sense for clarity I guess although I never really understood it in the international server. But to BAN the characters of an entire language outright? Especially when their Love Divines and Falabellas frequently use characters from other languages and a lot of the text on the game remains in French. That just seems wildly unfair to me. Maybe I'm misunderstanding but why shouldn't players be allowed to speak Javanese in their private forums and PMs, or name their horses as such?

It makes completely no sense! I get that maybe not a lot of people who speak that language may play this game but it's a complete erasure of their language from these servers! Who thought that would be a good idea?? Imagine the outrage if they banned English characters. It's crazy to me that they just decided to remove an entire language from their game
