The Ascent is on its three week break that is why it's not showing up. As for the Ephemeral it can only work on the classic version.

Hippolyte offers Obols, and Heracles offers Drachma. Both divines require you to win 1 competition a day to earn points that fill up their meter

I like they are releasing them again but not anything else. I want atena, hestia and apollo. Im probably only getting apollo. If i had money to buy Heracles and hippolyte i would have done so. Now in the future i might only get one of each even Heracles. Then they said it will be harder. If its harder than this less people will play. It has to be fun with some wins.

I am in a position where I returned to the game with enough time to figure out how to play the Ascent well enough, but too late to actually win anything from it. I actually really enjoyed the gameplay and played every day, even with its frustrating win rates, but I am not sure I will continue to play after these changes.

I don't think it needs to be rebalanced or shortened - by the end (I did stop playing because I had to admit to myself I wasn't going to get Zeus with the win rates, and saved Obols instead) I was able to regularly get to the last couple of rooms, but would consistently lose even with 80 or 90+% chances to win. I understand statistics and I know this is possible, but because of it, the Ascent never exactly felt *easy* I might have spent passes if I was close to getting a divine, but with 3 weeks and harder gameplay, I can't really see this happening, so I may just stop playing altogether.
At least for me, taking it away and making it harder is not overly incentivising to play, but rather the opposite.

Also, did you PURPOSEFULLY change the ratio of stuff on the site? Because you changed it and I hate it. The margins on the sides are now HUGE for no reason, and I’m certainly going to accidentally end up pressing the WRONG buttons and wasting time and energy. There’s no reason to do this. You are wasting space on the page. Put it back.

As far as the most recent change, I'm also annoyed at it. If you're going to take away three weeks of gameplay every season, at the very least you should change the inventory limit so we can still collect Obols every day during the off-season.

I understand that you're changing things to make it more difficult to play and win anything, but you must realize that this makes it so much less appealing. You've already got half the players convinced that it's rigged against them - I'd expect to lose many more players with this change.

Hate the margin change, the blue box going over the rest of the page on both side is so ugly

The margin change looks really bad if that was on purpose and not a glitch. I truly don't understand the point of making the taskbar a half inch wider on either side. It doesn't look good, and it serves no purpose.

As for Ascent getting semi-cancelled, it mostly just serves to disappoint the playerbase, but that was already known and they were duly warned in advance nobody liked this change, they just don't care. Don't really have much to say about it other than that I agree with everyone else and it was a bad idea. It was supposed to be a permanent gamemode, and there were even (paid) Divines released for it. Undermining people's investments in the game is NOT the way to get more money, it just sows distrust and leads people to take their money elsewhere (same song we've been singing for years and years, though...)

Also the little note that they're changing Ascent from suspect-rigged to ACTUALLY rigged. :/ "We're changing the bonus distribution" so it's just gonna be all bonuses, all the time now huh. Not gonna be able to win a single game under the new model, huh.

After the update the top of my screen is blank, where the games and everything usually is, I'm on mobile, is this a problem for everyone on mobile or a bug for me??

No bug, the Ascent is on a break now, and the Ephemeral event is not available on mobile.

On mobile only if you go to classic and get them in line up of last worked but still sketchy.

Three week break unwanted. Either prolong it or drop better divines.

devs, please look at the bar. the right side is 4 pixels too short. the space between the back button and middle bar, and the question button and middle bar are not the same. the padding left/right is the same value but they are not equal in space. so in other words, the bar is not even centred properly. please re-evaluate the css...it's small but I can't unsee it....

also...ignore if intentional...but the bar is also 1px taller than the boxes...

Not a fan of any of these changes I think, except for the piggy back moving to the sales page - I visit the sales page far more often than the piggy bank page and I feel like it was unnecessary to have a whole tab dedicated to that one page.

I have to have the zoom at 70% if I want to see the whole ray (and the interesting parts of the anniversary background that Howrse installed) so either I miss out on beautiful art or the site it too small to use comfortably which I dislike, and it's quite irritating that the width of the pages no longer line up in some places... However, the *new*(ish) pages do line up, so hopefully that means the rest of the site will be updated to align with it in time.
