More updates yesterday and yet the ray search feature stays the same....

I have suggested to contact us in the past so no use there

It takes so long to find a ray that works nice with whatever coat or divine
And alot of the time colours are not right, I no some are mixed so hard to define but sometimes the colour is no where near the one I have selected.

Can we just have some catagories please?

Halloween, ocean, forest etc etc

It cant be that hard to do with everything that has been changed or overhauled in the past year around here.

Honestly doing something like this would take an insane amount of work and would probably not be that helpful in the long run. They would have to manually go through every single ray (there are almost six thousand) to categorize them as well as program the search feature in the ray selection area (and probably the directories as well). Then we would end up with rays that still don’t quite fit the search, for example a ‘forest background’ with only one tree or two trees or something similar.
The colors are up to the people who submit them to pick, so even if this was somehow implemented I assume it would still be up to the artist to pick the genre. Which would mean we would end up with a lot of ‘ocean’ backgrounds that only include a puddle, stream, or no water at all.

If you’re having trouble finding rays with certain themes there are a lot of private forums that have rays organized by themes, or the howrse spotters forum could help.

On the subject of ray's search (and GA's), in one of the surveys they used to give us, I asked about a more comprehensive favourites system, where we could create our own categorized searches - say have multiple colours to use, or be able to name them...

Not sure if commercially available (Azure AI, Imagga's API), but couldn't howrse devs use AI to categorise images to simplify the process.

It's not that your idea doesn't have merit, it's just that we've seen over and over how their delegating tasks has failed every single time.
The moment they stopped personally checking over the Creation Space was total mayhem, and now the ****players**** are tasking with 'policing' the coats. That's not how it should go.

Delegating to AI would only lead to disaster.

Does anyone know when the next round of Pass UFOs will be coming? Are they in anyway predictable?.
Last time I had just bought passes the day before and felt so stupid when I got the UFO.

Is there a thread in any of the forums to post ideas or things we'd like to see added to the game? I looked but didn't see anything...
I just thought it would be nice to have...

For instance - in the competition results I would love to see them add rosettes for the comps that you've won a rosette in.
I've had lots of little ideas and thoughts about different things that would be nice to possibly see added to the game.
I'm sure we all have tons of ideas for the game, so I dunno if they'd even wanna open up that can of worms... so I can understand if there's not a thread for it or if it isn't allowed.

The only way to tell Howrse any ideas you have is to sent a ticket to support ( contact us) and explain any ideas you have.

There is no guarantee they will be implemented and they will state that but all ideas do go to their office.
