Had I not activated any of my diamond or gold cards, I would have enough for one of the first 3 divines. That's not free cards though, as I did buy 1295 passes worth of card packs along the way.

It's not very fun to have to just sit on cards for what will likely be 2 weeks, but if you try and earn prize cards or complete puzzle sets before then, you're almost guaranteed to have to buy packs to have enough cards for the divine gate.

I just think it's a step back from the last couple of Christmas events where careful strategy allowed us at least 1 free divine, plus some gifts. Like Nalu said, you'll have to give up prize cards and puzzle sets if you want a divine this year.

I am wondering if we'll get an extra week of this event though. The Christmas events tend to run longer than usual, so perhaps we'll have more time to gather free cards.

Agreed. If the event last 19 days. You will get 76 cards all in all. I think Jormungandr costed 73 cards? Not entirely sure, he cost me only 3,500p to get. I got 7 diamond cards (6 for Jory, 1 for Frohe Weihnachten) Got an abundance of bronze and silver. However I only got 6 gold cards and had ot open quite a few packs until I got 12

That's right, I looked in terms of focusing on the divines only.
If we look at the event as a whole, and we should do it, then taking the divines, without excessive waste, involves giving up the prizes.

I also forgot to calculate double days. My bad, so if the event lasts 26 days then we get 5 days worth of 4 cards. You end up with 66 cards. Jormungandr costs 98 cards. So wether you like it or not, you'll have to spend about 3,000p to get all the cards you need. And that's not calculating the amount of diamonds and golds you'll get. Yuki, the divine i am going after costs 67 cards. I'll still need an extra card, I will probably get all the right cards I need though. So only Slongvir and Lancelot cost enough cards for you to have free, both are useless to me, and you also don't know if you'll get the right cards. At most these divines will cost about 6,000p-Jormungandr, 4,000p-Drakorn, 1,000p-Yuki. And at least they will cost, 3,000-Jormungandr, 1,000p-Drakorn and 95p-Yuki. Last year all 5 divines were free to win, this is just utterly disappointing.

This calculation does not make sense because I got divine with less than 1000 passes, and your calculation did not depend on rarity.
Last year it was not possible to get all the divines for free, not at all.

I think she meant you could get any divine that was offered for free, not all of them for free. Which divine did you win? I know it costed me about 5000p of packs before I got Jormungandr.

Something completely different: are there any pictures yet of the Parade Apple coats? This Apple is the main prize in the current Memory event but nobody knows what the coats will look like.

And another dumb question from the n00b , are these Christmas Packs a present or do we have to buy/earn them? If the latter, how much/how?
