I just started testing the actual event on preprod and I realised that 2 of the prizes (one early game and one late game prize) was a Shire uni. So my guess is that the unis will be released later in the memory promo as a prize and maybe in some kind of pass offer.

The next event will be the memory game (Nordic Memories).

I read somewhere that the Howrse teams was working on EC updates, is there anything known about that? I couldn't find anything on it for a while now. Thanks

So in the coming week or two, we are having a series of chimeras be available, as well as multiple new unicorn breeds. Well at least two (Shires and French Trotters). I wasnt aware the trotters were coming. Might there be any other uni breed surprises coming in short order, say, in another pass buying offer? Or any other way? I want to be wise about when i buy passes, cause i cant do it very often. Any info could help. Thanks!

They did say they were working on it, they said so when they did the change to fodder, but for now nothing yet.

There's a pass offer right now for Unicorns, but can't say about any other unfortunately.

other uni breed offers (besides the new Shire unicorns of course), because the French Trotter was the last regular breed left that didn't have a uni equivalent. We usually get the regular horse/pony version first before we get a unicorn.

The other Draft unicorns haven't been announced, so it's up in the air if it'll take longer for the Percheron and Drum unis to come out.

I'm very disappointed in the French Trotter unicorn offer. Drum unicorns, when they're released, I believe they'll be released in the Horn of Plenty? If this is true, I don't see why the French Trotter unicorns can't be released the same way. 1,000 passes is a lot to ask for. Correction, paying for 1,000 passes is a lot to ask for. Yes, I'm sure people have the money to do that. But honestly, I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the coronavirus. Businesses are bumping up the prices because there's a lack of certain items. What does this have to do with Howrse? Well, I'm sure there's a lot more "game time" for people now that most schools have shut down and most states are quarantined. I suspect more people than usual are logging on. If Howrse is taking advantage of this, I'm very displeased.

Sorry, I just had to be bold here. I'm wondering if anyone has the same opinion. This is just my opinion, but I have solid evidence, I think.

Howrse has always released new Unicorn Breeds in pass packs, the new 'virus' is not the explanation there. Apart from those released in contests, the rest has always been offered in this kind of promo.

Also, weekend promos are planned MONTHS in advance, which is how we can sometimes foresee the popular ones (Expert diplomas, Divine of a series in horn of plenty, divine tack and such)

I don't think we'll be able to get them from HoPs when this goes live (at least not at first). The HoP offer we see is likely just for testing purposes so that we can obtain them more quickly. Like past unicorn breed releases we'll probably have to get them from pass purchase if we want them straight away.

Alright, I can see that, but when was the last time a new unicorn breed was offered? In my two years of playing, Howrse hasn't released any new unicorn breed that I know of. Why suddenly now? I know in not an expert, but I'm still suspicious. Also, the coronavirus isn't exactly new. It's been about for a few months.

I forgot about that breed. Alright, I'll admit I'm wrong. Thank you guys for bearing with me.

I'm just a little disappointed for those non-pass buyers out there. Hopefully the unicorns won't be too expensive in sales. And if they are, I guess I'll be waiting a long while until the prices go down.
