HoP they open, which doesn't seem right. There's a topic on preprod where peope are discussing it, but we won't hear back on whether it's a bug or what until.at least Monday

It doesn't change the breed, species or anything, it just gives your horse a colored coat. I haven't really tested it, but it makes the undercoat grey, and gives it one of the colors shown. Your horse keeps it breed appearance otherwise.

I recently completed the hike in prepod and I used 263 tokens (including the daily ones and the ones I bought). This is from me going out of my way to get all the fragments but I did miss some gifts. So if you try to get all the good gifts and fragments, I estimate it will take around 270 tokens.

I estimated this number (270 tokens) from the gifts that I missed that I assume people will go for like Magic Hat, Chronos' Timer, Golden Fleece, Harmony Pack, Fifth Element, monkey companions and Horn of Plenty (I didn't actually miss all of these gifts, only 3 of them). Then I assumed each gift will take an extra 2 tokens because you have to change lane, and since I missed 3 of these gifts, it will take about 270 tokens.

Since you get 15 tokens every day and 5 from the tutorial, it should 17.6 days to finish the event (using the 270 tokens estimate) and since the event runs for 17 days, you should only need to buy 10 tokens. I'm not sure how much the tokens will cost during the promotion but by taking 4 tokens for 90 passes, it will take maximum 270 passes if you get the 15 daily tokens everyday including the first and last day of the event. That seems very reasonable especially since during the promotions the tokens will be cheaper. Also note that not all boards might be the same and this is only an estimate based on my experience. (and also I just remembered that there was a bug during prepod so on some days I didn't get daily tokens so completing the event might not even take passes)

Also, by collecting all the fragments during the event, I obtained 575 fragments (I collected 26 10 fragments). I also opened a bunch of Golden Fleeces and by average I got 30 fragments per Fleece with the community bonus that gives double the number of fragments. If you obtain 575 fragments, it should approximately take 14.2 Fleeces to get the divine. That's about 2800 passes (if you are like me and have never been lucky enough to get find all the fragments needed to fill up the meter in the Fleeces).

Yeah, I don't like any of the wind divines since they all have an expiration date. I won't spend thousands of passes for a divine to have him become useless in a few years. You're not even guaranteed to get the prize you're looking for since the prizes are multiple.

They'll give you prizes for about 3.4 years since you get them.
Prizes are rotational, so you're guaranteed about 100 copies of each prize if you generate a storm every 4 horse months. However, you're NOT guaranteed to be able to launch a storm every 4 agings unless you wait for the famous +7.
If you do and you're patient, it works. But you HAVE to wait.

Oh, yes! Absolutely. But the WOY will double his gains over time (12 months a year instead of 6 months), so it depends on how much you want to invest in that and how picky you want to be with the Wind Day. Having a WOY will give you a bit more leeway with that, as you effectively gain more days.
