I look forward to seeing a full detailed event post from the current preprod. I vaguely remember this event, but not enough to recall how it works.

this thought has always bothered me. if someone is searching the spoiler zone..one can reasonably expect to find information will be revealed.

the topic of this forum is SPOILER. so why whine when you find something, you would prefer not to know..

if you don't peak..you don't know. it is just that simple.

some people..sigh..some people take the fun out of life for themselves and others.

some people give breathe to the term spoiler.

This question actually gets answers quite frequently: because people searching the forums in general, using the search bar or looking at a player's posting history, cannot opt not to see spoiler zone posts. Without the spoiler banner, they could see spoilers they don't want to see even though what they are searching for has nothing at all to do with spoilers.

okay, bezo93.. i see it is kind of like snooping around in your parent's closet for a pair of shoes and you find the stashed christmas presents.

it is quite simple..don't snoop and you won't ruin your surprise. the issue could be resolved by going to source and asking directly for info..or asking on game play or any relevant forum.

Except they aren't 'snooping', they are using the forum search function to search for something completely unrelated to spoilers, and what they are looking for may not be something that it would be helpful to ask in the forum for. The topic of this forum is Events, not spoilers. The topic of this particular *post* is spoilers, but you cannot search the Events forum without also searching the Spoiler Zone post.
Say I remember that player X posted a meme response to something, or some sort of breakdown analysis, but I can't remember exactly which topic they posted it in (which happens more often than you might think). The most expedient thing for me to do is look at their post history until I find the post I'm looking for and if I do that, I'd see anything that player has posted in the spoiler zone. If those posts are in a spoiler banner, it's not a problem; if they aren't, it could be (I wouldn't care, personally, but some people do). Yes, I could ask someone to find the post for me but that is almost certainly going to get a slower response than doing the legwork myself because I'd have to wait for someone who knows what I'm taking about to come along (not to mention, it tends to annoy people because it looks like I'm being lazy and expecting them to do the work for me) and it would clutter the forums with even more requests for information that is already readily accessible.

The way people browse the forums shouldn't be restricted because they don't want to stumble across spoilers; that's spoiling their enjoyment of the forums. Spoiler banners are an easy solution to that problem and take clicking a button or typing two extra words. The issue has already been resolved without anyone having to take a roundabout approach to using the forums.

Does anyone know if the next Promo is going to require alot of passes and what the divines are? I'd like to get some of the things being offered right now but if the next Promo is also Pass heavy and is divines I want I'll just save the passes I have for that.

I think this would belong a bit more in the given Events topic, but I was using a reindeer divine when this one came up and Blitzen was able to get right through it.

Okay so my comment above was blocked why? I used the banners and I followed the rules. This is a spoiler zone and my comment got taken down for showing spoilers. Said spoilers were under the banners, why it was blocked is past me.

The usual pattern is that a new promo starts the Thursday after the previous promo ended, which would be 9th January for the promo after the Mazes.
