I really don't see why the design is a huge deal. As many players have pointed out, children these days are desensitized, not to mention that if they're young enough to potentially be upset by exposure to these designs, then their parents should be with them whenever they use the internet. There are a lot worse things out there. Besides, you're not being forced to participate.

if you don't like the designs because they're creepy, that's fine, you have every right not to take part in this promo. However, once the event goes live, I sincerely hope that no one raves against the players who *do* choose to participate or who gush about how much they love the creepiness of it all. Halloween is for everyone, and that *includes* adults and older kids who like scary things.

Personally I adore the designs and I love the spookiness factor. I cannot *wait* to see these beauties in my breeding farm, and I will definitely be participating more than I might have otherwise in past Wandering Horse events because these are just too beautiful to ignore. Props to the artists who came up with them, they did a wonderful job of embodying the spirit of Halloween. I recognize more than one horror/scary movie character in those designs and I love it.

I really am excited for this Halloween event to start. I'm already mad at the Stagecoach event for existing and it's not even here yet. I'm going to be mad the entire time. I just want to skip ahead to the Wandering Horses so bad!

Though of course my favorite coat, the Banshee, will probably be the last one that can be acquired when not using passes.

Now, I know there was a little discussion about this when preprod first opened, but is it typical after the Wandering Horses for the Wandering Spirit to become available? I'm already miffed about not seeing it available during the contest. Is it something that comes at the very end or as a weekend offer or something?

Also, are there any divines that offer a Wandering Spirit as a gift? I really want to collect all these coats and make them my favorite horses, but I'm guessing I'll only have days to buy the item attempting to get them all :/

We usually see WS in the Black Market a weekend or two after the Wandering Horses promo finishes - or, at least, we did with the Music Wanderers and the Environments, too, if I recall correctly - so I imagine it will be the same this time.

We don't have a divine that gives the Wanderer's Spirit, unfortunately. Hopefully that might change in the future as we now have a few divines that give one of the rarer customisation items (e.g. Fenrir gives SoA), so there's no reason the Wanderer's Spirit couldn't eventually be given in the same way (fingers crossed!).

Thinking of how Howrse normally runs things, the coats should eventually be added to Wanderers Spirit. I know I took a Hatus around the time that Music and Environmental event was a round, and they got added as well.

Then again, this is somewhat of an special holiday event so maybe not. I personally hope so though.

I wish we could just skip whatever the next event's called and just jump straight into the Halloween wanderers event. I'm way too excited for the coats. Creds to Howrse for actually making me excited about something after a long time of just being bored and frustrated.

I ** love ** the Wandering Horses. It is a favorite promotion of mine in addition to the Great Challenge/the lotto and the cards. With that being said, I am anticipating that it will not be possible to get more than a third, perhaps more than half, of the Wandering Horses without spending thousands of passes, which is disappointing, and I, too, am nervous about the objective that requires participating in hundreds of competitions.

I will be using testing to find out which of the Wandering Horses are obtainable without spending passes, which of them are not obtainable without spending up to 1,000 passes, and which of them are not obtainable without spending more than 1,000 passes, so those of us who are non-pass-purchasers, or those of us who do not want to spend passes on events, know what to expect and are less disappointed, and figuring out strategies.

I like the appearances, to be honest. Bogeyman, Evil Clown, and Nightmare creep me out, due to the fact that eyeballs and insects disgust me and due to the fact that clowns scare me, however, the others, including Bloody Mary, are well made and kind of gorgeous. It isn't anything that I can't handle and it isn't anything that a child couldn't handle.

I am twenty one years old, however, my brother is eleven years old and one of my sisters is thirteen years old, and I think that both of them could handle it, as they're exposed to scarier things all the time, at school, in stores with decorations for sale, in neighborhoods with decorations up, on TV, in movies, on the internet...some of the horror movies that teenagers are watching are traumatizing. I doubt that children under their ages are on the game, at least, not without parental supervision, in which case, the parent can deem the pictures inappropriate, and the parent can choose to not allow them to visit the page...problem solved.

They are all obtainable without passes. I believe that's something new to this promo, according to the Event topic which states getting them all free is new to this edition. The one requiring competitions only requires 148 entries. So, the only pass spending necessary here is to obtain the divine out of TC's if you can't get her from the free one given by the Evil Clown.

Is the Wandering Horse event going to need perfect strategising / no mistakes in order to get all of the horses without spending passes? Or is it a bit forgiving?

At the moment it seems fairly forgiving. After a week I've got all the horses except Banshee (yes Tea, she's the most difficult...) and I'm at 41% on her. Of course, we don't know what they'll change when it goes live! They have said it's possible to get them all though, so they are going to want a reasonable number of people to do so!

If I remember correctly they said for the last memory game that the first divine was obtainable without passes. I know a lot of people doubted that, but I did it and I did make a couple of mistakes (clicking on tiles I already knew when I meant to click on new ones, and so wasting a couple of moves).

I'm so torn about these wandering horses...i usually love those but i don't like creepy things much, but that's just me, i don't mind others loving it. i was gonna try to sit it out, but i'm torn because i'm pretty sure i saw where someone says they give companion(s) as gifts, and that i really DO want. Add in the fact that, as you guys are saying, we don't have to pay passes to get them, and i might have to just put up with them for the much longer term reward! We shall wait and see what they offer...just curious, does anybody have a list?

The one that gives an Owl is Grim Reaper. He's one you can get the first day.
All you'd have to do is get through the tutorial (Wendigo, give an apple to Ow's Hela) and then to get Reaper you just have to congratulate players.

I have two questions about the Wandering Horses events
1. Does anyone have a link to the page with the info on the divine we can win, or can someone post that information?
2. I gathered from looking through here that it is, technically, possible to complete without spending passes, but if I miss a day, or something, is there a rough estimate on how many passes would be needed? (low end, and high end)
