Okay so it’s been like two weeks since ZOwey told us that they will be looking at the AP-change that they made and I honestly haven’t heard anything since. Are they just saying that they will change it or are they waiting us to forget about that promise and to get used to this update? I really hope that they will keep their promises and do something about it..

Remember that coding and changes take time, often even months to change. It is very possible that they are currently working on it right now. We all just have to be patient for a bit.

I went on twitter and saw that many of the Nordic horses already had promos. Does anyone here still think I will have the chance to own all of them? I hadn't been on for a while and didn't realize they had started this new series of divines?

Howrse is always in the process of re-releasing older divines. Even if you've missed some in the current cycle, you'll eventually have another chance in the future to get them. I think Tyr has been seen twice already since his original release last year, so he'll be back around again.

A reminder that weekend luck item offers or reserved sale offers are generally not revealed to us on preprod, so it's almost always a surprise for every body as to which divine we'll see on a certain weekend. Howrse's Twitter page is a good way to track past releases.

Does anyone know if the AP issues have been resolved yet? Or if not then when?

From my perspective it was an honest mistake the team made, nothing with bad intentions. I do agree that future updates should cater more towards long term players instead of trying to keep newbies playing.

It does seem as though the game is now really slanted towards pass buyers and new players. The new players thing isn't bad but it's loosing a lot of seasoned vets because of changes. As for pass buyers, it's understandable to some degree, Howrse is a company after all. It just seems that they're main motive for doing things is dollar signs.

Without spoiling, the new event looks interesting, hopefully it's a bit more strategy based and not just pay to win. I always prefer the events that are like the wandering horse promos where you get rewarded because of really hard work, even if its grindy. But there's the alternative to use passes as well. Just my preference, and I'm a non pass buyer so it actually gives me some hope to do well in them.

Either way, hope the whole A.P situation is resolved soon and future changes are made with long term player's games in mind

I'm sure it takes time for them to gather the information needed from all the servers to review it, talk it over ect... Just be patient I'm sure they will get back to us on this issue as soon as they can.

Why do we keep adding new divines? Why can't we have more chances to get the ones that already exist?

Well, they started a new series with Japanese ruins so I think they'll finish them for people who are here for ages and has all the old ones...



But I agree that it'd be nice to have some older ones back too because there are many new players

I've been here "a few days" (as you can see) and I am no where near owning ONE divine from each group, let alone "all the old ones".
Sadly I think it is another demonstration of my not fitting into the "new age" of "selling and buying newer, faster, and more, is better,"

Yup I agree... Having them is a luxury but there probably are people who pay to get them all and that's why Howrse creates new ones... Although the rest of us has almost or none of them

Because: more divines = more promos needed to release the divines = more passes needed to complete the promos = people needing to spend more money on passes = profit and/or people leaving.

I guess Owlient only cares about their potential profit, not their loyal player base. They won't care if people leave because they are fed up as long as new players (aka new 'victims') come along.

Which is also why these changes are in favor of new players, rather veteran ones (the objectives, the AP change, etc).

However despite these facts sometimes a Greyfell or Falabella is offered as a prize in promotions and the Christams promotions are know for having a bunch of divines offered. So just be patient, they'll come around.

Although I agree about how promos are too clustered together, between the Decorations and Japanese Ruins was a 44 hour gap. Now come on that isn't even 2 days. But between the Japanese Ruins and Great Challenge was a 70 hour gap. Again, not even 3 full days apart.

Might I add, at the start of this year there were 196 divines. Now there are a whopping 206 and it isn't even halfway through the year yet! Just stop, please. Do you see people asking for more divines or what? But it's no using asking to stop. I mean these developers are practically a machine coming up with these new features. Promo going on, one about to start, Preprod testing the one after that. When will this cycle end?! Trick question: it won't, if anything it'll become more intense. Like right now sometimes two new divines are offered, why not make it five? While you're at it, why is there any time at all between promotions, the time gap is already so small why not just 'delete' it altogether? And why is there only one promotion going on at a time, make it three!

That's a good point, cnildwarf. I guess all we ca do is play our game how we want to play it and make our own goals.

You're 100% right. Like, I understand having a dozen or so different collections but its always the SAME gifts and benefits on a different horse. Some of these divines - like the Pastries and Rainbows - and their "gifts" don't even make sense to me.

I was looking recently and it seems they've severely discounted the benefits some of the mythological collection horses, such as Xanthos, if my memory serves me correctly.
196 to 206 is a very drastic jump in barely 6 months. *sigh* It'd be more exciting -I feel- if there was one Boss Divine for each item/amount of passes/equus/benefit and it was cumulative. That way there'd be a mad dash to have a genuinely premium horse.
I remember the Howrse of old where the most you could sell a horse for was like 200,000 and the max passes on a sale were 20. TWENTY, now their like a common currency all their own.

I sent in a question in Contact Us on May 2nd about this saying they were the only items you can purchase with passes that aren't available in the PB and this is the response I received:

Skirted around the question as to why they aren't in the PB already and if they'll ever be offered so probably no. I'm assuming it's because if the GA/H Pack ever cropped up in the Piggy Bank on the 25th when the new coats are released, they would lose a chunk of money from pass purchases and we all know how real money makes the Howrse universe go 'round.

Finally someone else who knows what time it is.

I highly suggest that those of you who really care about this continue to bring it up, because the squeaky wheel will be what gets the grease here. This supposed "mistake" still hasn't even been addressed in a news post, and if Howrse thinks they can get away with not returning the aging points you can be certain that they will. Don't give them the benefit of the doubt on this; make them EARN IT.

Hi everyone, I have been seeing a lot of complaints in this forum recently and I'm not sure that that is the purpose of this forum. So, I have started a forum for exactly this reason in my EC (link here).

Feel free to come and voice your opinion/s there and although it is small, if enough people are talking on it then I'm sure the higher ups will take notice. This way, this forum will stay for spoilers rather than angry players.

i have almost all the divines..missing a few. eventually, i will have them all.

talking about divine releases..don't forget the new wilds/chimera. ugly for most part. but i do like that they pay out passes.

oh well..i came to see what next in promo land. found out.
howrse will keep pushing for people to buy passes with real money.
i just wish they would give more desirable prizes.

I have been waiting on information about this myself. I said they were looking at the data to see IF a change needed to be made. I still have no idea what their intentions are. However, I do know that they are preparing to give us the information to give to you. We expect it soon, that's the best I can tell you at this point.
