The first group of testers are chosen for the ability to test, by experience, previous testing, and knowledges of the game - not just VIP's - so once they have done the basic testing, the test session is then opened to VIP players on a first come - first served basis.

I got that PM too, but I haven't seen a banner. I'm wondering how you actually become a tester to receive these PMs? Do you sign up somewhere or are you selected? I'm not sure why I got that message, but it looks interesting.

I think you should wait for this banner appear. I got the PM too default smiley ;) (whatever this acronym means)
And if you want to become tester (to test more than this one test session) you have to be VIP. VIPs Get a chance to maybe test upcoming Howrse features

I'm reading through posts and am still quite confused.. I'm not a tester, I assume? I don't see a banner and wouldn't be a typical candidate lol

Most likely an accident, but as Raf’s Mum states above, the first group of testers can be non VIP, and VIPs have a first come first serve opportunity after. I’m not sure if I interpreted it properly, but in the past, I believe only VIPs can be testers. I don’t know much about testing, but I think that if you aren’t a VIP then you aren’t a tester and it was a mistake. Correct me if I’m wrong default smiley (lol)

Okay, i searched through the game play forum and this is what I found:

VIPs can choose to participate in testing, while non VIPs must be chosen by a mod, there is no other way. The first group consists of the people chosen by mods, probably a mix of non VIP and VIP players. Afterwards, the VIP players who weren’t chosen in the first initial batch have a chance to participate, first come first serve. Not sure if this is accurate either but it sounds about right to me.

I have feeling that somewhere was wrote that they'll give random users chance to tests too but I don't remember where default smiley (o)

This event is similar to the potions event last year. You have three bowls, and you combine two ingredients in each bowl to “bake” prizes. You will obtain ingredients on daily logins, objectives, and by baking. You will also be able to buy packs of ingredients on the black market. Boosters can be used to shorten baking time, and the rarer or more valuable the prize, the longer the baking time. There is a new horse breed in the gifts. When you do a recipe again, it takes longer to bake. The boosters shorten baking time by 2 hours.

The divine ingredient is cupcakes, which you need 50 of to get the new divine, Cupcake, which is the blue one. After this, you can obtain Fairycake with another 50 cupcakes. Fairycake is the pink divine. Recipes are discovered when you combine your on hand ingredients in the pot, but you don’t need to mix them right away. If you don’t want that prize, take them out.

If you decide not to go for the divine, simply recycle cupcakes for butter, another ingredient.
you can use to bake other prizes. If you don’t want to be that active in finding recipes, the recipes are revealed a few days later for everybody.

So all in all, basically the potions event with a few tweaks default smiley 8-)

Cupcake is a male, Fairycake is a female. Cupcake will help your other horses find more sugar during their actions. He can also offer a reserved covering to Fairycake if you have her as well. His skills can be increased using diamonds.

From what I take from this, the pasty divines will be offered in pairs, and if you have both, you can breed them with each other.

However, if you breed Cupcake with Fairycake, she can give birth to a foal randomly picked of these three breeds:
Curly, Mustang, or Quarter horse. You can’t give birth to another divine.

The more pastry horses you have, the easier it is for your horses to find sugar. You can give sugar to Fairycake, and the more sugar she has, the higher the inborn skills of the foal will be.

Overall, if I’m correct, great concept art and event, but the perks aren’t my favorite default smiley (y)
