For cheapest way to finish you MUST make sure you can use all (or almost all) the pollen you get in pollen packs. You can't use pollen on horses that are finished, so make sure you have horses of all pollen colours left!

The pass hogs of this promo are Brimstone (open HoPs) and Leopard Scribonia (use pollen on horses). They both use Yellow Pollen.

Worst case scenario:
- 17 HoPs and 17 Pollen Packs = 34 passes

If you plan ahead:
- 16 HoPs and 8 Pollen Packs = 24 passes

8 Pollen Packs equals
6 x 8 = 48 Yellow pollen, use 44 on Scribonia, 4 on Brimstone --> 45,2 points to Scribonia
6 x 8 x 4 = 192 total other colours --> 0.3 points each --> 57,6 points to Scribonia

=> 102,8 points total to Scribonia
=> 100 points total to Brimstone

As long as you can use 183 out of 192 of the purple/red/blue/orange pollen from the pack, you can get enough points to Scribonia from 8 packs. Considering you can get pollen also from UFOs (and open HoPs from inventory rather than with passes), the number of passes might even go down further.

From each group below, select at least one horse that you "save up" for the pollen from pollen packs. You will have 48 pollen of each colour to use. You can also spread the pollen around to several horses.

* Swallowtail: Stroke Horses in Safe Haven

Once you have used all the right colour pollen, finish the horses up by doing their tasks.

3rd Yellow Pollen Horse:
Spanish Moon - Objective: Age 5 horses to xx years

There's 3 ways to do this:

1) 5 Immortal horses, pile of aging points.
- pros: easy to do, just keep aging
- cons: needs lots of aging points

2) 5 Mortal horses with Morpheus' Arms
- pros: saves on Aging Points, doubles as pass horses
- cons: will require Black Orchids to restore horse's health a few times. You may accidentally kill the horse if you mess up.

(of course, you can also do a mix of mortal and immortal horses)

3) One horse (mortal or immortal) and a Cloud Pack
- pros: you need to just age one horse to the target age, use a cloud piece to de-age, then age it up again. You won't be using the entire Cloud Pack either, so you can then sell the horse to someone else to do the same process.
- cons: requires using a Cloud Pack, which is 5 passes and requires Pegasus or VIP account. Normal Pieces of Clouds can't be used on horses over the age of 30, but PoCs from Cloud Pack can.

I just had an epiphany, that if you get 12 pollen packs and 5 HoPs, you can finish with 17 passes.

Can this be true?

6 x 5 x 12 = 360 pollen -> 108 points to Scribonia.

Yellow pollen (12 x 6) used on Brimstone -> 72 points, and 5 x 6 points from HoPs -> 102 points.

Anyone know when the Wandering Horse promo will come?

Promos tend to end on Mondays and start on Thursdays. There have been a few exceptions, but that's generally how it rolls.

Special offers for promos happen every weekend that the promo is live EXCEPT the first weekend.

Divine and other promos tend to happen two or three weekends in a row and then there's a one week break. <- though that one's kind of tentative; I'm still observing to see if that is how it happens.

Judging by this it suggests a Divine appears twice during a promo. Excluding the Pinatas where a Divine appeared only once, however, there was a weekend during the Pinatas where you could get a Unicorn when you purchased a number of passes. Obviously this is not a be all, end all, especially since I didn't go back that far, but it may perhaps give you a better guestimate for when a divine will appear. Or it could all be a load of rubbish

But since you get a certain amount of points for each time you stroke a horse in the safe haven, this means that you could stroke three for the day and get points each time you do so - so you could get a maximum of 18 points per day for the Swallowtail Wandering Horse.

How to play?

To get a Wandering Horse, collect points by:
performing the requested action as many times as needed or
by giving them the right color pollen (except for the horseAtlas).
When you get 100 points, the horse joins you in-game for 5 days with their present or presents!

After a very long time, the Wandering Horses are finally back!

Collect all 16 Butterfly Wandering Horses and win prizes!

There are 16 Wandering Horses, each representing a species of butterfly. Each Wandering Horse has a meter that can be filled by completing an objective or by a pollen donation of a certain color, depending on the horse.

The objectives can be repeated as many times as needed.

When the meter reaches 100 points, you get the Wandering Horse in your breeding farm for five days, as well as the prizes linked to it.

Warning: The birthday objective ("celebrate a horse's 30th birthday") will be higher on the live game.

Major differences compared to previous Wandering Horses contests

You no longer get points for the Wandering horses in the Horn of Plenty as previously. Now you have to use pollen (which can be purchased directly during special offers with pollen packs)

You can’t get all Wandering horses from the first day. You can unlock 3 on the first day (during the tutorial) + the Wandering horse giving the divine. The following horses will become available at a 2/day rate.

Before you unlock them, you can’t start collecting points for them.
