Croesus fortune just increases your chance of finding a comb or whatever when you do missions and etc. It doesn't have anything to do with what your wild horse or divine gives you.

Hey, has anyone bought the Mustang yet? I mean I know someone has, but has anyone here bought one? I'm curious if they don't have the special background anymore. I really like the wild horse backgrounds and I'd be sad if they went away. If they do, Howrse should make them Helios Rays.

They do have the backgrounds. You can see the news either from the one that is in the reserved sale for you or check out the ones born today in the directories

No, and unfortunately the existing background doesn't work like a Helios Ray either- meaning that it won't keep the Wild's morale at 100% all the time - which is silly, I think, but eh, that's just how it works.



Ah, do you mean if we'll be able to put the Wilds' backgrounds on normal horses through the new item? I'm not sure, but I'll ask now and hopefully find out for you soon!

I'm a non pass buyer and have not ever bought a Wild myself, but I do remember that my sister got lucky and won one from the Cards promo quite a few years back. Maybe Howrse will allow you to win it from luck items or something like that again? (Though that might have it's own issues; if it's in a HOP, you might need to spend passes to buy over 10 HOPs just to get it which is more than the sales price... But isn't that the risk with all Divines?)

I agree that it is ripping you off by making you pay 10 passes if you want the current Wild when it only gives you 80/79 diamonds (unless of course, you have a steady supply of POCs that you are willing to use), and, correct me if I'm wrong, it doesn't even have any special perks. Let's just hope that they go cheaper in the sales later on.

I'm still puzzled on how the Wilds apparently won the vote on which Divines we want to come back... I thought it would be the Gemstones myself. I guess people didn't expect them to go for 10 passes.

Yep, I won my Namibian(probably butchered spelling) from the Halloween Cards one year. I can't remember how many passes I used though to complete the cards that year and get him. Though he was just a single card, not a prize for competing the set. I do like having an older divine slipped into a promo like the Greyfell and Falabella were. They were placed so they were slightly more easier to get. It would have been nice if the poll results were actually posted *hint hint Howrse*, as judging just from player's responses doesn't really help. There seemed an even mix of Gemstones vs. Wild though. I saw lots of "Wilds are so pretty!"

Depends on what you mean by this.

They don't have very high skills, but they earn a decent amount of equus since they enter mostly divine comps.

I was considering getting some extra wilds as last time they were released in the reserved sales they were only 5 passes. I was disappointed to see that they are now 10 passes and not worth buying, unless you are completing the set.

Agreed. I was hoping to complete my set, but I'm not sure I'm willing to since their price has doubled. I'll probably just get the Exmoor, which was one I wanted last time and missed since I was travelling.

I always wished they'd released New Forests and Connemaras as Wilds...

Does anyone know if they'll eventually offer all Wild horses as prizes or in the sales? I need ten more to complete my set and I really would love to buy or win them. I'm just disappointed they've doubled in price. But, I still like them.

Can anyone tell me exactly how many wild horses there are? I have none at all, so a rough estimate would be nice before I decide whether to collect them all

Nope. Points in HOPs is the only special offer. However, the amount of points increases (or should, anyway) with each pinata you open.

Spyder recorded the amount they got in each pinata on PreProd here, so you can check that out to give you a rough estimate!

Even completing the set is not worth paying 10 passes for a wild. I prefer to complete my Gems or Solars sets, they will at least pay back in diamonds. My opinion, ofc.

It will be pass heavy, but there are so many variations of what you can do, a plan is not really viable.
