Pinata 6 is 100 points and not 75 as I originally posted here (and in the other post that contains the objectives)

So I tried making a new account on the British server and I guess it was a new tutorial-had Ouranos and Gaia as the starter horses and it had the girl as the tutorial guide instead of Ow. However, it got super glitchy. Like when it came to the "open your mail" part I opened my mail but it just got stuck and kept telling me again and again. I deleted the account because it was so annoying but I was just wondering is this a common problem?

I must say one thing...that "stay logged in feature" will be PERFECT for Piniata promo.

Leave the comp on and the tab with howrse open... all clicks every x hour you cannot use directly will just...save up... for you to use when you wake up >

In preprod, the pinatas are very glitchy. Taking away my blows but not giving me points on the pinatas. I've competed an objective for pinata 9 but it won't let me confirm it. I really dislike the pinatas, but I'm happy that we get a vintage apple this time around!!!
Also, what happened to showing us a whole list of the available gifts? Instead, we have to click through each pinata to see them. It's very frustrating and then we have to click our way all the way back to the one we were on.

I'm sure Howrse has made some sort of limit to how that feature works, as some things about it would just seem like cheating to me(i.e. staying logged in so on days you can't log in you still get your log in dice rolls or whatever. I haven't tested that particular thing, so I don't know if it works or not?)

But for the pinatas the clicks don't save up anyway. If you miss using the clicks during that hour, they disappear. They don't save up, at least not that I've ever been aware of. There is adelay which is how I usually use them. I won't use my clicks until right before the next clicks are available so I'm actually not logging in as much. Unless I misunderstood what you meant

grant it, in past pinata promos, when I've been on I've gotten most of my clicks so never quite noticed. Though back when I had dial-up there was a few times I was logged in, but my clicks weren't registering because of my slow internet so I just gave up. I don't think I still had those clicks when I got back on later. But it would be interesting for someone to test that!

I was on prepod, and they have a time limited Fertility Wand as one of the prizes... O.O That isn't even some gigantic prize. Not very happy; I exchange my Fertility Wands for Helios' Rays, and this will prevent that. -.-
Not that I couldn't use the Fertility Wand, as I suppose I could, but I'd rather two or three Helios' Rays versus two baby horses.

This is operating on worth of items versus number of pinata they're in. (Because logically the farther in you get the better prizes you receive.)

- How and why is 3*** tack worth less than 1* tack?

- 10x Mash, 50x Apple, 20x Leather, 20x Carrot, 20x Mash, and 4,000e are worthless to me, even more so because of the absolutely minuscule amounts they're offered in. Really? 20 Mashes for reaching Pinata 18? Thanks, Howrse.

- 300x Droppings. Again, pointless. However, it has its own separate point because we literally get droppings for free. There is no reason why it should be offered as a prize.

- Resource amounts are slightly improved, but I'm still eh about it being there.

- General ranking points are also useless. Most of the players going all the way on this promo will be higher up in the rankings. 1,500 points won't really make a difference to their position, so it's a bit of a waste.

So yeah. Really the only things of worth are the HOP, the Harmony Pack, the Winged Staff, and the Nyx Pack. The other BMIs are fairly common/inexpensive to get. I'm well aware that I don't *have* to participate, but I shouldn't be getting 15 passes worth of items (I'm counting HWS as 6 passes because you can get a 6 pass item for it) for the 30 or so that I'm spending to finish. The Divines aren't really worth much either in this case unless you're a Gemini (which still isn't much of a deal, wow ONE 5th element a year) and Wands are quite common as well.

Those are just my thoughts on it, though. Yeah free stuff is better than nothing no matter what it is, but a) 'prizes' should be things worth more than a couple hundred equus' worth of stuff from the store and b) the cost of promos in general versus the gain back from them is definitely skewing, and not in a good direction.

To be fair, the pinata promo is not that pass heavy as promos go. You can finish up to pinata 16 eithout any passes at all essentially giving you a Harmony Pack. Past that you can normally use HOPs for extra points which you can get from stroking Xanthos.

I'm personally happy for a free Harmony pack and if I have enough HOPs saved up from stroking xanthos every day I'll be able to get even more for free. And all the tack and such I'm happy to take, I never seem to have enough of it anyways. If the prizes were better than they are howrse probably could't afford to make things like the pinatas as easy to complete.

open HOPs for points to complete the promo? Perhaps Howrse assumes that the stuff you get in HOPs add to the prize pile? Which doesn't hold for me as the items found in HOPs now are typically terrible. I don't find BM items in them like I used, which is why I usually save them for promos like these where you find promo items in.

Now, if the odds of finding BM items(at least 1 pass ones, not meager ones like Croesus Fortunes) in HOPs were bumped up like they used to be, then I wouldn't mind the prizes for this promo being not so great
