This is a new series of 13 divines (yes in fact there are 13 Zodiac signs!)

The first Zodiac divine can be won in the World Championship contest: Scorpio

If you were born under this sign, Scorpio will give you 1 x The 5th Element every year, on your birthday, if you log in on that day. This gift can be stacked.

Scorpio is more accessible, and is why the gift is smaller than other divines. We want to test the possibility to propose a divine that is more accessible. Lots of players regret that divines are difficult to acquire and dream of it, so we want to propose a divine that requests less passes.

We do not know yet if the other zodiac horses will bring other items but we can already tell you that they will each bring the 5th element under the same conditions as Scorpio, but for the sign they represent.

► Attention: It is expected that you cannot change your date of birth on the test site. This will be included in the real game in the future.

When this happens, we will provide information and notify the players on the live game to allow them to put their real birthdate on account profiles if it has not already been done.

The World Championship is a new contest where players can enter competitions to win points that allow you to win gifts.

How it Works?

You can use your horses in World Championship competitions to compete against other player's horses. Competition pools open every 12 hours.

Increase your chances to win by playing a mini-game before entering a competition.

Competition Types

There are three types of competitions for this event.

► Hunter
► Steeple Chase
► Endurance

Taking Part in Competitions

Each player will receive 6 invitations to participate in competitions for each competition pool. If you would like to enter more horses in competitions you can buy tickets.

There are several skill levels of difficulty which are represented by Continents. Horses can be entered based on their skill levels.

The level of difficulty is based on the total skills of your horse (different from normal competition where it is the most important skill that determines the difficulty): the more your horse has high skills, the more the level of difficulty will be high. The level of difficulty cannot be higher than 100%, which is the level for the top horses of the game. The higher the level of difficulty, the more points are won.

You win more points when your horse finished first than 5th, of course. So it is up to you to see what can bring you the most advantageous amount of points: the level of difficulty and the place your horse finishes.

Taking part in a competition in this event does not use the horses':

► Time
► Energy
► Morale

► You are not limited to 2 horses per competition.

Divine, wild and legendary horses cannot take care in these competitions. Each horse can only participate in one competition at a time.

Preparing the horse

Before entering the horse in a competition, you have the opportunity to get a preparation bonus:
► with a mini game
► with a ticket (see below)

If you choose the ticket option, you get the bonus without playing the mini game.

The mini game involves plaiting the horse’s tail in a maximum time. We'll let you discover it, as it should be easy to understand.

The bonus applied only for the competition you prepare the horse for :
+20 endurance
+20 speed
+20 jumping

Encouraging the horse

Before entering your horse, you have also a chance to obtain an encouragement bonus:

► You can request help from your friends, for 300 equus
► with a ticket (see below)

Your friends can answer your request on the contest page.

Tickets

You can buy tickets with a degressive price on the passes.

During the contest there will be moments where you could buy tickets pack for an interesting price.

Tickets can be used:
► enter more horses in competition
► preparation bonus without playing the mini game
► encouragement bonus without ask a friend

It is up to you to decide.

Prizes

By participating in competitions, you accumulate points. When you reach a level, you receive gifts associated to the level. The last level gives you Scorpio the divine horse.

The competitions WILL match that of your horse's skill level:

Astrological horses are divine horses. There are 12 different. Each one represents an astrological sign.
When you have given birth the 12 astrological horses, you'll get the ultimate horse Zodiac: Ophiuchus!
On your birthday, the horse for your astrological sign offers 1 x The 5th Element if it is in your farm.
Every last day of an astrological sign, the horse of the corresponding sign is offered to a player among the natives of this sign.

They do not account for the prestige of the equestrian center where they are resident pension. They may participate in competitions open to all horses once a day, and competitions for divine horses, wild and legendary as many times as their energy allows.

But are there really thirteen zodiacs? I thought there were only twelve!
Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces?

It's actually quite easy, and makes way more sense once you see it in action.

All you have to do is choose a horse to enter into the competition (hint; some skills matter more than others depending on what 'competition is currently being offered.)


Here's a horse I chose to enter - note at the top it states today's competition is Steeple-Chase, and it uses (in order of importance) Speed, Jumping, and Gallop.


Now - I need to choose if I want to give my horse a boost by either playing the 'Braiding' Mini-game and/or getting encouragement from a friend *in both cases, you can also use a ticket *bought with passes* to get the bonus:

Simply choose which one you want to enter your horse in by clicking on it. You'll be taken back to the main promo page, and you just need to wait for it to run.

*Remember, this is Separate from the actual game! So the horse you use can still be worked as normal.

Why there are 13 Zodiac Horses *Copied from Wikipedia*

Ophiuchus is one of thirteen constellations that cross the ecliptic. It has therefore been called the '13th sign of the zodiac'. However, this confuses sign with constellation.

The signs of the zodiac are a twelve-fold division of the ecliptic, so that each sign spans 30° of celestial longitude, approximately the distance the Sun travels in a month, and (in the Western tradition) are aligned with the seasons so that currently the March equinox falls on the boundary between Pisces and Aries.

Constellations, on the other hand, are unequal in size and are based on the positions of the stars. The constellations of the zodiac have only a loose association with the signs of the zodiac, and do not in general coincide with them. In Western astrology the constellation of Aquarius, for example, largely corresponds to the sign of Pisces. Similarly, the constellation of Ophiuchus occupies most of the sign of Sagittarius. Aries

I have the tiniest, tiniest feeling that there is correlation with the release dates of these Divines and the actual dates of the Zodiacs. If this is true, then we can possibly expect this Divine/Promo to be released around November 23rd ish. Do know, however, this is a complete speculation on my part.

Seems that Howrse are keeping at the rather weak prizes. I for one am grateful for all I get but I have to agree. Would be lovely if there was something of value everyone could get.

Considering that there are different levels of competitions - I feel it might help make things more balanced for players of all levels.

I entered a variety of horses in different events (Some with high skills, some foundation horses, etc) - so we'll see how they do.

I think skills will only matter in calculating where a horse finishes (and thus, how many points they get)...All we can do is wait and see what happens once these events run (which probably won't happen for awhile depending on if Howrse keeps to the time table of every 12 hours during testing/how popular this session is.

So are we going to get two divines for gemini, or a siamese twin? :x
