I'm guessing because that promo wreaks havoc with competitions.

In the past one of the challenges required players to enter X number of competitions - the number depended on how many horses you have.
If I recall correctly the most competitions needed was 1000 (someone correct me if I'm wrong), so during the promo things get a little crazy

Personally I don't mind the chaos. It makes things interesting for a little while.
Also, the number of passes needed to complete the promo has always been relatively low, especially if you play it smart.

The wandering horses is infinitely more fun, interesting and fairly priced than the excavation in my opinion.

Neferka, I agree with you I mean, you have a lot of time for competitions + I think that there are points in Hops for all horses at the end of promo,

That is my main objection.

While it is annoying on this server it is devastating on the other servers. Especially ones like the Canadian and Australian ones. Those servers already cannot support the number of low level divines, so to have an influx of so many would simply wipe out any possibility of finding a single comp to put them in. I have asked Admin to look into this as I see signs of too many low level divines being released all over and it WILL hit the International site soon.

I wasn't here when the Wandering Horses promo was around (I started my first account back in September of 2013, they were doing Pinatas) but it sounds cool and it seems like it would be fun

Is there a map for each box in the SR?

Do we have any indication that it will? I can't really remember them, as I didn't participate much, but is it a recurring thing like the Great Challenge & Lottery?

Nope - unless we test (or another server tests and someone hears from there) - there is no way to know just when or even if a promotion will return (ex. until tested started on Equideow - no one had any idea that the 'Cursed Sands' was being brought back (Cursed Sands was a Desert-themed version of the Underwater Excavations from 2013 (It worked the same way [Trade relics for tools, dig for bones and other prizes, find traps, etc)

So you can see - sometimes, promos might happen once a year (like has happened with Cards over the last few years, or the Magic Ride around the Holidays)...likewise, other promos might be a one-time deal and never seen again (like the Carnival Howrse Parade of 2010) - still, others might only show up every couple of years (Cursed Sands).

All we can do is wait and see and keep our eyes and ears opened for any new information.

So I have a question about the SR promo.

What do all of the horses of the rainbow look like?

I am not sure if you remember the promo where there were pictures and we had to add paint and mix paint to fill them in. I was the first promo I participated in ( and didn't finish as I was too new). That one was fun but never saw anything like it since.

Now that one would be a good one to resurrect.

I've always enjoyed the horse parade promos quite a lot - I'd love for one of those to come back!
