Summer Ride

I thought it was the Sandy Ride

SR stands for both Secret Rainbow (the divine horse) and Summer Ride (the promo that involves dice rolling). I'm guessing that's where this confusion comes from, so maybe we could start saying "SR the promo" and "SR the divine"? I think it would cut down on misunderstandings

Do you just have to go past a square to collect the item (key, prizes, objectives, etc.) or stop directly on the square that holds the item?

Yes, it's just like the Magic Ride we had for Christmas, except summer themed and when you land on a present, it automatically opens, there's no waiting till a specific day to open them.

So do all Shires have stockings on all 4 legs?

Since testing of it just ended - it will probably start sometime after the Underwater Excavations end. Considering that promos usually start on Mondays - this gives us a start date anywhere between as early as the 29th to sometime later in July.

The Summer Ride is a board game - you roll a die (3 times every 12 hours) and make moves. The main objective is to collect the Keys to open the Doors to move to the next board. Along the way there are gifts of various sizes you can collect that will give you a prize. If you can make it to the Final Board - you'll have a chance to win Brave Purple (The final Rainbow Divine) as well as a Falabella Divine by landing on their gift space.

*the Black text denotes what size gift the prize is found in. Note that unlike the Winter Magic Rides - when you land on a gift space, it is opened automatically and you win a random gift chosen from the 'pool' of items for that size.

Like the Percheron - Shires can only breed 3 times in their lives, and only with other Draft horses (so you can breed Shires and Percherons together - but you can't breed Shires with Riding horses, Ponies, etc)

Apologies this is in French and for the red lines on these images (they show the most 'direct' route to navigate a board BUT as moving is heavily based on luck when rolling (ex. rolling a 3 when a 3 is the only good move you can make) - it's best to just take them as a guideline and not follow them exactly as some points have more than one option.

Additional help is gotten for this promo in the form of Dice Packs. Sold for 1 pass - these give you 2 additional rolls (there will also be an event later on that gives 3 rolls for the price of 2).

On Preprod - the Double Mines event came around twice (once near the middle, once again at the end). My guess is that it has to do with that.

Likewise, there was talk about a limited sale run of Achilles' Heel in the Black Market *as this item can not normally be bought, only won by various means) on another server...it could also be referring to that (however, there's no confirmation of this that I could find).

The game actually ADDS more gifts to the boards ( except the first board). So you think you got all the gifts and boom come back and there are more added.

This happened on prepod so that is a nice bonus.

What are Brave Purple's bonuses?

Actually, I don't that the extra gifts are added once you collect them all - I think they were added in before hand (but some players didn't realize it as they had collected all the gifts before they were added, thus it seemed Howrse added more).

Reason I say that is because Shortly before preprod ended, I went back and collected all the gifts to get an idea of a player's final prize pool. My final count on gifts was;

23 Small gifts
26 Medium gifts
4 Large gifts

But when I counted the amount of gifts on untouched images originally - the breakdown was:

20 small gifts
21 medium gifts
3 large gifts

Anyhow, just my thoughts - either way...it's more gifts!

Brave Purple is one of the Horses of the Rainbow.

He gives you one diamond every Sunday (after the daily update), provided you logged in at least once over the previous 3 days.

Once you own all the 7 Horses of the Rainbow, you can obtain Secret Rainbow.
