Hopefully soon, I'm itching to get them myself! When you use HoPs is all strategy. Using them earlier helps cut down on time used, but using them later is a more tired and true method and you know a rough estimate how many you'll need.

Also, make sure you're going to be able to do all the objectives and such before you spend passes on a promo! It'd be a shame to spend ten passes and then realize you have no more and are stuck without your prize.

Looks like you picked up a good haul, but not getting any drafts would certainly be a bummer

I managed to grab one on preprod, but I was searching for gifts and the not the exit.

Not to get off topic, but I think the last objective is going to give me trouble I have no idea how ever I'm going to complete that without spending passes or items.

Anyway,

I can confirm that the usual 'extra points' is coming. I'd guess sometime this week (probably the week-end as promos. usually happen on Week-ends). This gives 2 chances for this (this week-end, and next before the event ends). Double points - not sure as I missed the end of preprod testing last time around.

As for going for points - It's a bit hard to say

Some say it's beneficial to open them sooner during the promotion - as, while the points they contain will be lower...you can progress faster and do more objectives that help with the harder pinatas (ex. closer click times, more clicks per hour, more points per click, etc)

Others find they have better luck using them at the end for that final boost to get the prizes(s) they want from various pinatas.

Either way has its pros and cons - it's really up to you to decide (In the past - provided there was more than one 'extra points' event - I used half my stock in the first round, and the other half towards the end)

Yes, that icon shows to show that Red's VIP perk is active. I assume that the icon will also be on the Carrot tomorrow (likewise, any VIPs just want to confirm that? I only go VIP on the test server...on here, I only use a Pegasus account for the extra breeding farms)

They will be in the same spots for everyone but they will not be in the same places as on preproduction version, because it would give too much of an advantage.
