I don't think this would be the worst thing in the world but the problem is translation and not really knowing the specifications.
Reading the first line it sounds like you can have it, but once you place it on a horse it cannot be sold. Therefore it doesn't truly change the value sale wise because it cannot be sold. It also seems like only a certain amount of a certain coat can be sold so no coat will creep above 100 copies unless it's already very close to 100 [and besides the -100 trophy, not too much of a loss there value-wise.]
But as a Non-RC collector part of me doesn't really care but I can't say I agree with the decision.
However I can't say Howrse has no right to do it. If someone puts a coat out and says "100 uses" it's debatable whether that means it can only go on 100 horses or 100 active horses may have it all times. At the end of the day no matter how much you debate that, there is only one jury, and that is Owlient, and Owlient will rule in its favor. 100 use means 100 horses may use it at any given time.

So depending on how they implement this it can be something that seriously hurts the sales or it can be nothing more or less than an opportunity for people to find those coats they have been dreaming of having.

I think Howrse should just give us caring players lots of money to buy lots of horses and and SH them, i don't even feel bad about it any more.

I don't find Zombies post confusing.. it does change the value considerably though.. if the coat is under 100 uses, the lower amount of uses the Higher the value.. each one added use wise will make a big difference in price.. a 20 some use coat can sell for max price, a 30 use one could sit in sales at same price.. even though they are only a few uses different

Well I have to wonder if it will even raise the use count. If it does then yes I know there is definitely a difference between something like 99,100, and 101. But I think it would be okay if the use amount didn't go up and you simply had the coat with no ability to sell it.
