I agree with you. This new feature has been discussed no end and it is here where I just retreat to my game playing and patiently wait for it to begin.

I almost wish it did start today so I could read all the new complaints, the old ones are..well old.

The Blog link below explains what is happening and when I was on the test server found no problems following the instructions ( after I read the instructions very, very carefully).

Lets stop stressing out and get ourselves ready, for once it starts all of us will be very, very busy.

the challenge is a way for howrse to monitor how much or how willing howrse players are to participate in promos.

this to me means, in a funny little way that admin has somewhat heard the complaints of players who often state there are too many promos. or we need longer breaks between promos.

caribooster, the Howrse blog says why the challenge came to replace the promos.

yes, lunatia, spyder's revellation as to where i might find the blog..then led me to read it.

therefore, my aha moment was mostly correct, as confirmed by the blog.

wouldn't life be so much simpler if, direction to where one might find the blog, to read was repeatedly posted...so that players like me..who don't always read or access every portion of the game on a frequent basis..would be better informed. and therefore be better able make more constructive posts to the conversation.

The Howrse blog definitely has a lot of good information about this upcoming game change/feature for anyone that is confused about how this is going to work after reading through the comments, I know I was and the blog helped clear up a lot of confusion that I had.

I am very interested to see how this is going to go and how long it takes for the howrse community to earn enough tokens to have the promotion released. It will be nice to have a longer break between the promos.

Hopefully we will all get to see what this is all about sooner rather than later.

All I will say is this:

The Challange will start sometime this week - and I can't wait ) and I intend to have fun while I am "being challanged" with all other players that will be playing. I am not a competitive person, so I will play to have fun - as I always do

Afterall, this IS a game and games are supposed to be fun

So I really don't know what all of the whining and complaining is about, afterall - if you want to join in on the fun - great !! - if not - oh well

definitely, i whole heartedly agree. the blog post certainly cleared up a whole lot of misunderstanding for me.

any one who has recently joined this thread, would do well to read the blog, available at the very bottom of this screen.

i'm also now looking forward to the challenge.

So, when we gather up all yhe tokens needed each time, will their be a different promo for each one? Or will it always be the lottery? Just wondering, becaude I can not wait for the big challenge! It sounds challenging, but fun!

We only tested the Lottery, but there will be more. (The Blog said the Cards would be one of them)

I am bummed I expected the big challenge promo to start today, oh well its bound to come any day now !

I too, figured that this new "Big Challenge" promo would be initiated as the other promos were. Typically on a monday at 8-8:30ish eastern time (What time it is for me when they start) and I'd be at school wondering how much catching up I'd have to go when I got home before I did by homework.

Do you think it'll be when they finish selling the divines? Because on May page it sys the divine sale ends on 30th April at 07:59 (obviously different time for different time zones).

That would be nice. Not only do we get a break (length depending on how active the community is), but we'll also get different promos. Having the same would be dull.
