I don't really like the bonnet at all apart from that I am completely ok with the tack on horses, there are some new horse coats I don't like but that's my opinion that I am not going to share.
I also don't see the need to get rid of Atlantes, Centaurs and make them all into Poseidon packs they could have just made those packs rarer.
I do however love the Nokota and Tennessee changes default smiley :)

Rly? I like the bonnets. They make the whole thing feel more realistic. I mean, I respect ur opinion, of course, but I personally think the bonnets are nice. They look good.
Thanks Pega

Are there now no shoes on horses? What then happens to the farrier in the EC?Is there a change with saddles and bridles too?

Their removing the horseshoes from the game. We get saddle cloths, bonnets and polo wraps in stead.

And yes once you have put on high star gear you won't be able to remove it and reuse it on another horse.
If you swap it with lover quality gear, the higher grade gear is removed from your inventory. If you switch specialty - say from Classical to Western, or vice versa, the specialty gear is removed from your inventory.

I always work a lot of blups, and I do mean a lot. If the tack feature is implemented the way it is now, it will cost me over 250K alone to equip my horses default smiley :-x

I have a question - is tack just not going to be visible for the horses with golden/diamond apples? And how do saddle pads and saddles fit around pegasus wings?

We have not been informed if it is supposed to be visible on non GA unis and pegs.
Their currently working on fixing some kinks. Only saddle and bridle became visible on non GA regular unis.

The tack items will not be visible if the horse has a GA

The future Knabstrupper's coats actually look like Knabstrupper's! Finally! I have been waiting for that to happen since I got my first one!
Take a look for yourself in the Enterprise's post! Epic! And the Gypsy Vanners look so pretty!

has anyone noticed that on the curly foals their mouths are really long, the line for the mouth is long, can somebody pull up a picture and look at the mouth it looks really really long for the foals (haven't looked at the adults yet)
By Retired breeder, 10th April 2014 23:08:56
well it isn't the actual mouth that goes long, but there is shadowing (or something) that is really close to the mouth and it gives the effect of a long mouth
I am very amused that the markings on the tovero Quarter Horse and Argentinean Criollo coats completely change from foal to adult form. That is most definitely not true to life! default smiley xd

Most likely a new pack, if it's something that players found on like the test site or something.
By Retired breeder, 11th April 2014 00:00:47
maybe something for breeding? it does have a heart on it. But the curly drawling for foals something maybe a shadow i think that looks like it goes off from the mouth
I've seen that somewhere before.... I don't remember if it's been on here before or it was just in the ideas forum.

I feel really worried regarding the tack on Howrse.
I feel like it's going to be super expensive to equip horses...

The idea is cool, but I'm just afraid of this making me go broke.

Ugh. I personally love all the coats except to Mustangs....Mustangs are supposed to be wild. the new coats look like laid back quarter horses. The old coat (to me) felt more real, even the coat before this old one too. I just don't like it, They don't look right!

The mustangs have MANES for starters, I get to extent, that rub them out, but the new ones have nothing to really call a mane! Secondly, as I said above, they look too calm. They don't look wild at all.

I agree. I love the conformation, and how stocky and thick they look, but Mustangs are pretty well known for having the "untamed" look about their hair. You know, the bushy chin hairs, the whiskers on the muzzle, the pony-looking hair that never seems to just lay perfectly flat and even. Some even have pretty crazy fetlock hair. But I mean obviously how a Mustang looks will vary if you are finding it in the wild, or in a breeder's barn.
