On this topic, you may discuss what isn’t in the game yet.

You can share spoilers concerning new features that will come to the game in the future.

For example, players participating in the test server can use this topic to share their findings.

Please remember to use the spoiler feature when sharing new information with everyone.

Why are people using the spoiler feature to post things like "I like spoilers" and "That's what I was saying?"

I'm sure that no one else is finding it any more entertaining than I am (and that's to say not entertaining at all; I actually find it obnoxious) to have to click on spoiler after spoiler to see if there's anything useful hidden behind it only to find out it's some pointless nonsense not at all pertinent to the topic.

Does anyone know if Onyx will be female or male?

Exactly why I will continue to enjoy my prior source of these spoilers... it's more organized and not full of annoying spoiler tags 0.o in theory this was a good idea... in practice? maybe not.

anyway, just a guess but I am going to assume male.

Random comments, references to other games (even Owlient ones), and misusing the spoiler feature will result in Monkey making frequent use of his green markers default smiley ;)

This topic is only for spoilers of potential new features that have not already been announced on the game. Clearly that does not include the stuff that is posted on the Howrse Blog default smiley ;)

I heard that in the upcoming updates there will be quite a few changes:

No more beach rides
Changed short rides
We get to see the tack on the horse
All currently used Helios Rays will be unlimited

New wild horses
New divine called Onyx
New Helios Ray formatting

The last 3 are actual information, the first 4 are rumors I've heard through the grapevine

Well, everything in here is either widely known because it's on the front page or rumors.
But here are my guesses:

The promo will have something to do with St. Patricks, Easter, 4th of July (mayb...doubt that one though),

The T. Chest will either be available in the lottery or you might get lucky and get one in a HoP or you have to buy it for some insanely, ridiculously high amount of passes.

All just guesses, though!!

Same here, Onyx is my zodiac's stone. I missed Garnet (unless we don't have it already) for my birth month.

Then we will bring even more realism by introducing new types of tacks: the saddle cloth, the bonnet and the leg wraps. This will provide more diversity on the game.
Each of these new tack items will exist in several colors and patterns. So you will have a lot of possibilities to customize your horses and get very unique ones!

The saddle cloth will become compulsory in order to enter competitions, in addition to the saddle and the bridle. Yet the bonnet and the leg wraps will be optional that way you don’t have to buy too many items of tacks for every single horse.
And you won’t have to give them horseshoes any more. Indeed horseshoes can’t be customized much to the contrary of the other tack items. So they don’t really need to be displayed on horses. Thus, we have decided they will only remain as a bonus offered by the farrier of an equestrian center, making the farrier more interesting at the same time. Be sure that you won’t lose anything: you will receive a compensation for the horseshoes you and your horses have.

Like the already available tack items, the new ones will also give a skill bonus to the horses that wear them. And we are considering correcting the skill bonus of the existing tacks in order to offer the same bonus in all 6 skills. That way, there won’t be a competition which will be favored more than the others.
Even better, if your horses wear a saddle cloth, a bonnet and leg wraps which have a common color, then they will get an additional skill bonus. Try to find the best associations to both get the highest bonuses and have the best-looking horses!

The tacks displayed on your horses
The cherry on the cake is that all the tacks of your horses will be displayed directly on your horses’ picture, as during the horse parade contest last summer if you remember.
Imagine realistic horses, wearing customizable tacks and evolving in a wide beautiful landscape! You will almost have the feeling they are alive.
Don’t just imagine, watch:


Of course we can’t display tacks in some horses which have a special coat (such as divine horses or horses with a Golden Apple coat for example). But we are working on a solution to highlight tacks on these horses even so.
