@bri2009 - I totally agree! If no one 'complained'', they Howrse wouldn't know that anyone disliked the changes. Games should cater to its players, so both positive AND negative feedback should be welcomed.
Lets see I have 4 hrs left on horse, it is at 24% energy.

That equals 4 wasted hours, and 30 or more minutes if a skill.

Wasted, wasted.

I love the workshops/resources, hate the taking away of meadows/boxes. I feel so intensely uncomfortable with the removal of those. default smiley :(
Well that ironic. You're telling us to stop complaining but yet you complain about us complaining? default smiley xd

Bri is right. And sadly, you'll hear a lot of negative opinions in your life and it doesn't say anywhere that we can't.

I don't like the changes. Why? Because I don't like the fact how ECs have become significant, I don't want an EC nor do I want my normal UFOs to be replaced with sand, iron or what not.

True. And I am not trying to be rude.default smiley :) And there are things I don't necessarily care for. Like not being able to put horses in meadow.

But you have to admit its not *all* bad. Say what you don't like, but don't forget to say what you do like.default smiley ^) Be positive!default smiley (l)
Reposting here what I had in the game forum as maybe someone will come up with a reasonable ''explanation '' for my fodder vanishing default smiley (lol)

That is absolutly ridiculous default smiley default smiley (li)I have a pretty decent EC and before they updated the game this morning I could age a skiller ,fed only on meadow and if I sometime over fed they got too fat ! I am trying to finish a skiller I couldnt do last night(wish I had default smiley :s) and in my perfect meadows he isnt abble to get even 16 foder ....I have keep open a page of my store item and I have only been doing that particular horse at the time mention. So no chance that the missing fodder was taken by someone else feeding in a lower rank meadow. In 20 aging done I have allready used 16 fodder from my reserve default smiley default smiley (d) I can't believe it default smiley default smiley (lol) And as for the increase in energy given by food ,it is also a thing to laugh about ....I have worked all my horses ,the good as the poor ones.and in each case they werent abble to make the full training I was abble yesterday.Sometimes you are stuck with 8 points energy and you need 9default smiley default smiley (d) And the divine can no longer get 8 points and a race.I have tried various schemes around ,trying to figure out the best way to get the most out of them and it is clearly an impossible ''mission'' default smiley default smiley (lol)
Have fun
I sure will not take on these changes with pleasure but will suffer through them until the next one

Draft Info:

These new features will be released in May

trait
Two draft horse breeds are added to the game!
Draft horse breeds work in the same manner as donkeys, meaning they can breed three times in their lifetime.
They behave the same as other horses (BLUP, competitions, training...).
Mission earnings are twice the earnings of a regular horse: they earn twice as many skill points, twice as many Equus and bring twice as many resources or Equus to the equestrian center.
Players can submit creations for draught horses in the creative space.

@OZ123
I am not complaining that you are complaining.

As you have a right to your opinion so do I.

Crafting is great, but I **Agree** that taking meadows away from horses are bad. I am with you on that.

@BlueBrook - I'm not trying to be rude either. I actually rarely post in forums at all anymore. I do like some changes; like being able to make tack and items is neat. The removal of putting horses in box and meadow really messes with my training methods though. EC's also got more expensive, it'll be hard trying to even it all out. It'll take a lot of getting used to, but I am pretty annoyed right now.

Well, um, I will get karma points taken if I use the words one usually does to describe people who love to, um, put their noses in um, places the sun don't shine to cater favor from those in power.

Never seems to end well for 'em but they just can't help it. I guess they're like the ones who pile on when someone else is getting beat down, thinking if they side with the bullies they won't be attacked. It's not one of our species' more honorable traits.

I guess I can expect more of my friends to go away. Most of my friends from my beginnning here are long gone.

Well, those of you who love everything here can have it, I guess, but you'd best go out and recruit a lot of friends. Games do get cancelled all the time. Sic Transit Gloria Mundi, y'all!

I am being completely honest when I say there is only *one* thing I like - Selling bonuses.

The rest I could live without happily. I especially don't like how we're *forced* to have an EC now. I mean, the new UFOs? I want my aging points back.

^Exactly!! I am not trying to 'stick my nose in' as stated earlier. I'm saying by all means say what you don't like. But say what you do like to!

This is getting amusing. As a student of psychohistory, this "conflict" in here has many deep philosophical implications, in my mind, an example of the cybereconomy running amok, and changes for the sake of changing historically does have a way of blowing up in one's face. But why bother learning history? It just keeps repeating. When this game goes the way of SPP when Google bought it, I will enjoy the last laugh, delivered in my best Bette Davis fashion.

I've been thinking about what M.L. King said about when profits take priority over people, and things like that.

And I'm getting insight into the cosmic wrongness of how our wretched species treated horses over the eons, using, abusing, and destroying them.

Too bad "karma" in this game is so misused and misunderstood.

So you "brownies" might want to add up all the real money you're spending in here to "compete" and they feel "superior" to those who won't go along to get along with such obvious mendacity,. well, if that's the only way you can feel good about yourself, I do hope you enjoy it while you have it. Invidious consumption is a loser's game, my friends.

Shane doesn't come back, kids.

I love this new update it 's as some as well as the missions it is as some though I couldn't find some places and such, this is like a surprise for all of us.
The sad thing is, one if my neighbors, pulled her to girls from the game this morning (she is a 100$ a month pass buyer), both of her girls where so up set, stressed and confussed to the point if tears, and the other one got cant say that word.

Its a shame when a family game causes problems like that.

Why do yous all focus on the negatives on howrse - there are far more people enjoying it across the servers and Ow wont make a change as there is honestly no reason to - are 99.999% of people banging their face into their computer about the changes? No so there is no real need to complain- its not worth it.

So since they removed the meadows and boxes they said there was going to be a significant raise in energy given through normal feeding....has anyone else noticed that this significant rise in energy is practically nothing? I gave my horse 8 fodder and 9 oats and it only gave me 5 energy....how am I suppose to train with that? And now what do I do with all these hours left and not enough energy?

I don't mind the EC changes but in my opinion there was absolutely no reason for them to get rid of the meadow and the box so I don't know why they did it. I hope they bring them back.

Oh whoops, sorry Dr. Zig.

Feed early in their day, when they have lots of energy, and the energy gain from the feed is massive! If you do not know how many oats they will need then just feed fodder, around when they have around 70% energy. You can feed the oats at the end of their day default smiley :)
