Greyfell is a divine horse that can rise from its ashes like a phoenix.

Every day, if it's not immortal, it loses health.

If it has survived at least 30 days since its last birth or rebirth, you receive 2 diamonds and 20 000 equus when you send it to Heaven.

You can bring it back to life with Pandora's Box or revitalize it with Black Orchids.
There are 12 different Greyfell, 2 of which are female.

Only once during the game, on the 1st of a month, if you have at least one of each that's still alive, you can transform one into a Palomino Sleipnir on its profile page.

You need to have all 12:

Females can reproduce once with a Greyfell male, giving birth to another Greyfell.

This mare cannot be sold.

You'll notice it says "if you have at least one of each" - meaning you need at least one of each different Greyfell coat

There is no guarantee that it will but usual there is one more time at the end of the event.

First you dont need buy Junior Croesus but need just call your own horse in his name and wait for miracle and second, in pinjata 18th in reward is Greyfell default smiley (a)

no it is not mandatory but you could use them to pogress faster

well it is not possible to finish piñata 20 without them, but you do not have to be a pass buyer to use hops. You just have to have passes, which you can earn.

Do stuff like sell horses, train up rosette winning foals and then sell them when you're done with the, use the trades.

I have earned almost all of my passes/wilds/divines without purchasing passes. I only purchased maybe 40 passes total my entire time playing here? It is entirely possible to make passes without buying them default smiley :)

However, Howrse does have to make money somehow and these events I assume are where most is made.

And I think someone said at some point you have to use 12 HoPs to finish? But that was most likely an estimate since they don't give exact points.

Thanks waterangel and JadedNight for the pass info. Unfortunately I have no idea how these people get 'rosette winning' horses and Divines! I have only one that I actually try to win rosettes with and that one always comes 4th or 5th!default smiley :'(

Usually you need to open more than 12 HoPs during promos such as these. Infact from my experience to finish a promo you need circa 25 passes. Though once I spent over 45 and I still didn't win the divine default smiley :(

Another way to get super easy passes is to use pass horses -- which is letting an age 30+ horse die "naturally" so you can send it to heaven (at age 30 you want to use up all of its energy then age it without putting to bed, feeding, etc). You can do 10 of those a month which does add up pretty nicely!

Curious about perks during the festivities. I currently have 132 horseshoes, meaning 4 tickets for the lottery, and a golden apple. Does anyone know what the middle prize is? I unlock it when I reach 200 horseshoes, and I was just wondering if anyone knew.
