I like the memory events but I'm not a fan of having to use the daily joker as a part of the tutorial. I get why it's included in it but still, it feels like a waste.

I know that I could not use the booster - but Emma held it hostage this time and I couldn't move forward without using it - or maybe the first one was a gift and I just went with the flow on the 2nd one ---

but anyway --- yes, I am that person that enjoys pumpkin spice and Jenny/Zebra !!!

I didn't think there was ANYONE who didn't know about the saga of Nalu and Rongo... and yet default smiley (lol)

It's a long story, so I'll put it under Spoiler.

SO! Back then, in the year of our Howrse gods 2017, before we had fragments, before we had the new pass system and even before the last Dinosaur stopped roaming the Earth (Hah!), I don't know if you remember how it used to work on Howrse.

Essentially, there would be the event, and the weekend following its conclusion, the Divine would be immediately offered in Luck Items. So you could try one last-ditch effort at the divine.

So here comes the Greenhouse event, summer 2017. I am *primed*, I am *ready*. Of course, I only get the low seeds, and so I can't germinate my Rongo; but I think ... OK, I failed the event, but he's coming in luck items, so it's OK.

Well, GUESS WHAT? Rongo was the *first* Divine to use the new trend.

No Rongo in luck items.

Vanished.

He's then offered in the 2017 Advent calendar. Spoiler, didn't get him.

And from then, it's 3 years of complete and utter radio silence. He was offered again in the Advent Calendar 2019, but that's it!

He comes back for Black Friday 2020, and only SEVEN of them are offered in the whole event. I stay awake for 36 hours. I nab the first one. Players go, "Oh no; and now what are you going to do?" The answer is, I still don't know default smiley (lol)

6 months later, he appears in luck items and from then he's been EVERYWHERE. Like, there were players who went "Oh no Nalu, I'm sorry" in the forums when they saw it was Rongo.

But for 3 years, he was the one I needed. The one who got away. And he just... didn't come.

If you see the Spoiler forum, it's full of my comments on "Please give us Rongo. Please give us Rongo."



TL;DR: The game used to offer the event Divine straight away, but then decided to stop starting from Rongo and did not offer him for over 3 years. Only for them to offer it over and over and over again once they finally started in 2021.


So yes, that's the important bits of the story of how Rongo got away and I chased him for over three years default smiley ;)
